Place2Stay @ The Mines — Hotel in Subang Jaya

The place is clean however the room is too small. Barely any walking space despite it is a room for two adults. My female friend unfortunately gotten period during a stay here. We cleaned it with cold water, the blood is slightly visible but if soak in cold water, it can be cleaned easily. Yet the hotel charges RM50 for no matter how little the blood is. At the end we were charged RM30 after long negotiation. Was not informed earlier that they will charge RM50 for even little blood. anyways, we acknowledge our fault. But I think it will be beneficial to share this experience so other customer will be extra careful not to stain their bed sheets with blood even a little. There are a lot of charges for smoking, drinking as well. Very strict regulations. Quite frankly the most strict regulated hotel I have ever stayed at. But the only good thing is, it is indeed clean. If the service can give negative ratings i will not hesitate to do so. When we arrive to the reception, the uncle was very rude. He said the credit card machine has problem and ask us goes to The Mines to take money, he say can walkby so we trust him but then when we search the map its 3km above alongside highway. He also ask us leave the belonging to him so he can kept for us. And we also put there. Just when we decide head to The Mine we found some cheaper offer. When we go back to take our belonging, he keep very inside and ask us to take ourselve but not helping us. If the thing is very easy to take out I'm not complaining but he keep very inside and theres a safe door. How are we suppose to take it. For the price and location, its good. Basic amenities, clean, but the room needs better ventilation.

Next to the KTM Serdang station, there is a bridge so you can safely cross the street, also walking distance to the Mines Mall with a safe underground walkway. Also a 24 hour market is within walking distance.

The staff at the counter were all very pleasant and polite. The WiFi was a bit difficult to use and my only real complaint is the lack of ventilation. The cheaper rooms do not have a window which I was fine with, but the bathroom exhaust fan does not work and the lack of ventilation made the room smell weird.

You must pay the 50RMB refundable deposit and 10RMB tourism tax in cash. The rooms do not have electric kettle but you can ask for one at the check in desk, but they only have like 3 in total.

Other than a towel, comforter, AC remote, and electric kettle (on request) there were not any...
