This is a newly opened China Muslim hotpot buffet that specializes in Xinjiang-inspired soup bases and dishes, and I was thoroughly impressed! The variety and freshness of the seafood, especially the large prawns and crabs, were standout features. The marinated beef and chicken, perfect for grilling, were flavorful. I also appreciated the wide range of vegetables, including different mushrooms, fishballs, and fucuk, which offered lots of options to mix into the hotpot.
The cooked food section did not disappoint either—my favorite was the duck/ayam kampung, which was juicy and packed with flavor. While the fried rice was a bit oily for my taste, I scraped the top layer and loved the buttery rice mixed with chicken gizzard and heart. There’s also stir fried eggplant which was tasty and up to my liking !
For the soup bases, there are four levels of spice: Original, Tomato, Honey Mala, and Mala. I tried the Original and Honey Mala. The Honey Mala was hands-down my favorite—flavorful with the right amount of spice, though it was on the oilier side. Scooping out the oil made it perfect for me, allowing the flavors to shine through. I’d rate the spiciness of the Honey Mala as 4/5. The Mala, from what the staff said, is a lot spicier, but I’ll be trying that next time!
The handmade Xinjiang pastries were a delight—tasty and unique, especially the garlic rolls (not sure of its name) The drinks there are quite refreshing, you’d have two options of iced drinks (maybe teas) and some goji berries & healthy ingredients for your hot drinks which you get to do it yourself ! For boring people like me, I enjoyed the canned drinks provided at the chiller.
The only downside for me was the ice cream, which tasted bland. The location is also quite sketchy as it is a bit isolated yet facing The Mines fishy lake. On that day, I saw some customers getting frustrated with the services that even the lady chef came to each table and apologise by showing her phone with google translate to say sorry. For me, I understand the chaos. This restaurant recently got viral on tiktok, hence the crowd on a weekend. It wasn’t the worst service and I don’t think that is a good enough reason to overlook the fact that this restaurant serves good food. However, I wish the ventilation could be better. It got so hazy in there.
Overall, the experience was fantastic. Each table has four individual hotpot sections, so no sharing required, and there’s a grill option for those who prefer it. The standout for me was the chicken wings in the Honey Mala soup—I couldn't stop eating them! The price per head was nothing more than MYR40 which is insanely worth it in this economy. If you're looking for authentic Xinjiang flavors with fresh ingredients, and affordable price, this is definitely a place to check out! As for me, I’ll...

I went here with a friend because she saw it on Insta and wanted to try. And... I have mixed feelings about this place. At the time of writing this review, the restaurant has been open for only slightly over a month. You can tell the staff are still in training. We arrived early and had their full attention but as the crowd built, i could see confusion, waiters milling, which soups should go to which table. Hopefully time & training will improve them.
For rm39, you can get free flow of beef, chicken, fish meat, seafood (nice and fresh selection of prawns, scallop, bamboo clams, squid, crab), and all the usual hotpot buffet fare along with drinks and ice cream. Our server even made us a really delicious sauce from the selection.
There are 4 soups available, 2 which are spicy mala base. I personally found the soup a bit on the salty side. In fact i think the soup or marinade overall might have enough msg to make Uncle Roger proud because I was so thirsty afterwards. It was definitely flavorful.
The soup flavor and meat grade are def not as good as some non-halal hotpots i have been but those places were also much pricier.
Worth the money but go early for the best service and be prepared to drink lotsa...
Read moreIf I could I give zero star I would! I went to dine in last night with my family and it is the most horrible experience we have ever been. The buffet station is horrendous, raw chicken wing already turn to purple, the meatballs are smelly I have to ask them to change, the sauce counter full of small flies and don't mention the meat must ask them to refill, but they only put few slices. The worsted is the worker using bare hand to touch every single thing on the buffet station , he smell the food very near to his nose and put it back for customer to eat!
The bos really oblivious, he just can buat tak tahu when I questioning he's staff, until I call him directly he Baru acknowledged the situation. We immediately stop eating, talk to the bos and lucky he refund our money. Very unacceptable, this is not a place for anyone to go and eat. Disgusted by the staff attitude. The owner shouldn't open a restaurant if they can't maintain food quality...
