A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Gozo: Extraordinary Stay at Gozo Traditional Hotel

We are a couple. Our recent stay at the Gozo Traditional Hotel in the heart of Gozo was nothing short of extraordinary. This charming and cozy hotel nestled in the heart of the city turned out to be the perfect base for my exploration of the island, which I now consider to be the hidden gem of the Mediterranean.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm Maltese hospitality. The hotel's traditional décor and ambiance immediately transported me to a bygone era, providing a unique and immersive experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and every nook and cranny exuded a sense of history and authenticity.

Our room was a delightful blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The antique furnishings, combined with all the modern amenities I could wish for, made for an incredibly comfortable and memorable stay. The cozy balcony overlooked a picturesque square, allowing me to soak in the vibrant local atmosphere.

The hotel's central location was a significant advantage. It meant I could easily explore the historic sites, markets, and local eateries of Gozo without the need for lengthy commutes. The hotel staff's recommendations for restaurants and activities were spot on, enriching my Gozo experience.

What truly set this stay apart was the staff's dedication to ensuring that every aspect of my visit was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and valued.

In conclusion, the Gozo Traditional Hotel and the experience it offered were truly exceptional. Gozo itself, often referred to as a hidden gem, is a destination that deserves more attention. And with the Gozo Traditional Hotel as your base, you're in for an unforgettable and extraordinary journey. I can't recommend this charming hotel and the island of Gozo highly enough. It's a remarkable, must-visit destination that will leave you with...

It was the best staying of my life! I rarely leave reviews, but I was so impressed that I MUST share my thoughts here. The host, Mr Rodrick, was incredibly kind, polite, and had a great sense of humor. After booking through the website, being able to message the host on WhatsApp right away and communicate easily! I highly recommend booking directly through their website instead of other platforms (it's the most budget-friendly option and well worth it).

Previously on our trip, I asked if we could store our luggage before check-in, and he kindly said yes. His kindness was truly appreciated :)

When arrived, Rodrick warmly welcomed us and explained the property. It was so fun cuz not only mandatory requirements but also about the history of the building and the local area! This was the first time for me, and I was deeply impressed. Rodrick spoke slowly so we could get that (my English isn't very good you know), and often said jokes.

The room was brilliant, of course. We were told that the room we stayed in has 400 years history. We absolutely loved it!

You can see "brick houses" everywhere in Malta, it is unusual for us from Japan, and we were curious about the inside and the interior. The answer is there. You can experience how traditional houses are built with bricks.

Anyway, it might take 400 years to fully express our appreciation in this review. There's so much more I could write, and I haven't covered all the charms, but I can say we were thoroughly satisfied with this B&B. This was one of the best memories for us. Thank...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Angele and Rodrick in their beautiful, 400 year old authentic maltese home. Such a stunning building, renovated with lots of attention to detail and craftsmanship. The thick limestone walls are paired with lots of wooden features, an iron wrought staircase and a 200 year old organ on the second floor. It feels like living in a well decorated mansion/monastery. My room was very spacious and beautifully done. There are welcome presents in form of local cookies and some complimentary water and lots of toiletries as well as free coffee/tea and crisps in the breakfast room. It felt like staying in a royal estate and Angele and Rodrick went out of their way to accommodate their guests wishes. They even bought soy milk and made a special vegan breakfast platter especially for me. They were also very helpful and knowledgeable on what to do while on Gozo. The communication was easy and they always replied quickly. I can not recommend them highly enough. My stay with them was definitely the highlight of my...

We had a great time staying there! The room was of average size with all the necessary amenities. The AC is coin operated, but this wasn't an issue for us, as we stayed in winter, but beware that heating is also done via the AC. Heatwise, the boiler for warm water doesn't seem to be the biggest, but it's only a problem if two people want to wash their (long) hair. There are also bottles of Gozitan wine, which one can purchase for a reasonable price. The whole house is absolutely stunning. There is also a common area with a TV, table, kettle (tea and coffee) and a fridge for your convenience. The hosts are very kind and always help if asked, like if you need a recommendation for a restaurant or to explain local traditions. The breakfast is pretty good too.

Recently had a delightful stay at this B&B in Nadur. The experience was made even more enjoyable by the really nice owners, who were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The farmhouse's central location in Nadur was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, providing easy access to nearby attractions. If you're seeking a cozy and conveniently situated accommodation with warm hosts and a special breakfast experience, this B&B is a perfect choice. Highly recommended for a warm and enriching stay. will return 100%.
