Walking Near Nadur There are so many lovely walks in and around Nadur, Gozo. My favorite is walking along the Belvedere. Its official name is David Cocco Palmieri Street or Triq David Coco Palmieri. This is not only one of the most picturesque walks in Nadur, but it is also a favorite for families and their young children to play on the swings, teeter-totter, and merry-go-round on a safe, quiet street. On most days, you have an unobstructed view of Comino, Malta, and the boats going to and fro. Towards the west end of the Belvedere there is a path to the left that takes you down an old road that will lead you to the village of Ghajnsielem. You can also start down that same path, but turn right, and that path will take you around the radio tower, Kanuna Tower, all the way to the main road, Triq iR-Rabat. If you turn left, you can walk to the racetrack and all the way to Xewkija or Victoria. If you just continue west on the Belvedere, you end up at Kenuna Tower where Ta’ Kenuna Botanical Garden is located. This is a fabulous sunset-watching place with views of almost the entire island.
