Wakame — Restaurant in Nadur

Just a quick note to the readers. This is an update from my review dated seven months ago. I do not know what has happened to the food in Wakame. This was our favorite 'date-night' restaurant in Nadur, but the food has steadily gone done hill in the last few months. We had shrimp Pad Thai last night, well, that is what it was supposed to be, just bad. One of our favorite dishes WAS Agadashi Tofu as it appears in the picture below. Now it is served more like a miso soup, no longer crispy. The service provided by Zack was still excellent but the dishes served to the other six guest left most of us wondering the same thing, what happened. We went with my partner for dinner Asian Buffet. We arrived at 9pm with our reservation and there were only two sushi roles left for all customers, and the main menu was basically noodles. I asked for a refund because I paid for the free sushi it said on the instagram post (and they charged me as soon as I arrived, without eating anything), they told me I should have asked inside, like the guy at the next table did. How can I guess what the system is like if the lady who brought me the water hadn't explained that part to me. They refunded me 20€ saying that next time I should ask how it works. Bao buns were delicious, sushi was very good (although the rice was a bit overcooked), mie goreng was good as well. Sadly, the service was a bit slow and overall not very attentive. Atmosphere suffered a bit due to constant noise from delivery apps/phone ringing and people waiting to be served.

I would definitely come back for the food, hopefully the staff synchronizes a bit better or makes the evening a little more pleasant for...
