My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and we LOVED this place.

Before saying anything about the place, I must say that the BEST part about it is the staff (John, Vinesh & Oliver). They were EXTREMELY helpful and very welcoming. They made our stay 10X better, so I want to thank them for that. We were also very lucky to have the nicest cleaning lady (Natasha) who we loved to have around.

As for the villa, it's very spacious, well designed and comfortable. We loved the large glass window in our bedroom with pool view. The bedroom was very comfortable and well cooled, the master bathroom is great for a couple although I didn't like the access to the backyard from there. It had a large closet that was enough for both of us.

The kitchen had everything we needed, we could cook and prepare drinks with the available tools. The living room was nice and the TV service was amazing. It had a tom of TV shows and movies which wa ms really nice.

Probably the biggest disadvantage of the villa is that the AC was only available in the bedroom but the living room was hot and humid. There are fans that are very quiet but they didn't help much with cooling.

The pool is a bit small and not heated which probably was a challenge given the time I went there because the water was cold most of the day except for few hours. The pool can be seen by the second floor of the next door villa which can take away some privacy. The garden is well maintained and clean but there was few geckos on the walls outside but nothing inside (which is expected in this environment).

The location of the villas has its pros and cons. It's far from the city which made it a calm area without any noise. However it was far from everything and taxis cost a lot there and not easily available. So I had to rent a car which made our trip way better. The mall next to the villas is small but nice, it has few restaurants and cafés but I wouldn't recommend shopping there because it's very expensive. There's a supermarket there that's 5-10 minutes walking and it was nice to have. The nearby beach (10 minutes walking) was an amazing advantage.

Beautiful villa in the west of Mauritius.

We stayed for six nights at 'Villa Ayoo' (N33) within the gated community of 'Marguery Villas'.

The location in the southwest of the island is excellent. During our three weeks in Mauritius, we stayed at three different accommodations in different parts of the island (north, west & east). In terms of nature, infrastructure and beautiful scenery, we definitely considered the west to be the sweet spot. It´s just 10-20 minutes away from the most beautiful beaches of the hole island. There is also a large shopping center with a supermarket (SuperU) just a few minutes away. Several restaurants and local shops are within walking distance.

Communication with our Host Nadeem before and during our stay was just perfect. Very fast, polite & informative. He had lots of useful tips for the surrounding area, which definitely made our stay even better. The warm personal welcome on site is also worth mentioning. We immediately felt welcome.

The accommodation is really clean and modernly furnished as described in the pictures. One of the biggest highlights was definitely the wonderful & spacious pool. The entire outdoor area is very well maintained and green with lots of plants and even some palm trees. Despite being a gated community, it feels very private and quiet there. A beautiful place to relax and calm down. The interior is very spacious and well furnished (as are the kitchen and laundry room).

If you really want to find something negative, it would be the mosquito situation. They were particularly annoying in the morning and evening hours (we had no problems in the north and east). But this was of course not the Villas fault.

Apart from that, it was a perfect stay. We are already looking forward to visiting the villa and the island once again. Highly...

Hello!||I have stayed here for 4 times now. This is home from home and place for relaxing longer holiday. It is not beach destination, but rather for families, older couples or group of friends who drive to the beach, value privacy, like comfort and are returning to Mauritius. It is better for longer holiday like 10 days and more. There are good restaurants in walking/short driving distance and small scale shopping, but it is better to stay when you have rented the car. Location is not ideal to first time Mauritius discovery (great hopes for new Flic en Flac road).||This is gated villa complex with different size houses. There are around 40 of them and some have permanent residents so it looks like small street and not hotel complex. You have security, cleaning and maintenance services plus you can add up services as you wish. All villas have pools according to their size and there is one bigger communal pool too. Villas are all equipped with good kitchens so you can stay within premises (microwave, dishwasher, laundry room, big freezer with ice machine, oven, plates and glasses, vine opener etc.) Usually there are master bedroom with kingsize bed and smaller bedrooms with separate beds. All rooms have separate bathrooms. Every room has AC - new and quiet. All villas have sundeck and covered sitting area. You can open windows and have wonderful inside outside feel in every room.||Overall - traveling in hot climate consider sun protection, accurate clothes, bug spray, yes there are ants everywhere, yes birds can be loud in the morning and there are different noises (roosters nearby), fruit bats eating and fighting in date palms in night, sometimes there is rain too or even cyclones. Local beach is 6 out of 10 use Le Morne 20 min drive. ||Anyway cannot wait...
