We went out for my first Chinese meal in Black River. I’ve eaten Chinese food in several locations in Mauritius - in Grand Baie, Curepipe and Mahébourg since 1999. I had high hopes based on the good review rating on Google but was deeply disappointed. Whilst the venue is spacious and we were greeted promptly, the service was exceptionally slow and for no reason. We were one of two occupied tables in an otherwise empty restaurant.
