Camping area is very small; tent pole to tent pole and sloped. Lights from the street, barking dogs and noises from other tents make real camping and sleeping difficult. Some spots are beside the kitchen and bathroom. It's more of an inner city condominium camping experience. There is a big flat grassy area but it is not for camping. Read moreThis place was so incredible that we have extended our stay here! Tents are new and super comfy, access to the lagoon, super friendly staff, nicely maintained green area. You will find everything that a backpacker is searching for… or even more - kayak was included in the price :) Owner - David and his friend Jorge shared with is tips for visiting Bacalar and made our stay even more enjoyable. Sunrise by the platform is something you will never forget! Finding the place may be a bit tricky - as there is a different name at the entry. Just follow the location given on Google ;)

Read moreNot recommended at all! They ask us to give 5 star on google and we will get one day free renting bike! The have nice beach and nice view to the laguna. The place is clean at all, the stuff use the gests kitchen and dont wash they’re dishes after. You pay a lot on the camping and you dont get sheets. One night the workers did noise at 5 AM and when i asked them to be more silent the told me in rude way that they working… there are better places that you can go...
