We've eaten here several times now and are never disappointed. The staff is friendly a d the food is excellent. One time I mistakenly ordered some.raw.shrimp that was so incredibly spicy I could not eat it. The waiter apologized and brought ne a coconut shrimp instead at no extra charge as well as an horchata to cool off my mouth. The coco shrimp was fabulous, as was my hus a ds salmon. We recently got the local whole fish special and a fish taco. More excellent t food. We like their. Raft beers and fabulous Mango margaritas too. We loved this place! We were staying a 10 min walk away and ate here I think 6 times during our 3 weeks in Bacalar. The coconut shrimps 😍 (we shared a couple of times as a starter) The hamburgers are amazing, the steak, fish, tosadas and found my favourite cocktail mezcarita made with passion fruit 🍹😋 If you order red wine and don't want it cold, remember to say! Espressos great too. Lots of Mexican families so the authentic dishes must be good but our taste buds might find some dishes a bit fiery🌶️🌶️😆 The staff are genuinely so welcoming, friendly and polite. Very nice bar/restaurant. It just happened to be within walking distance of where I was staying. Someone else had told me to go there because they really liked it. I had already eaten earlier in the day but went there to drink margaritas. The bartender did an excellent job. I sat there and watched him make a mojito for someone else and was actually in all that he was doing it the right way and taking the time care that need be to create this fabulous drink.
