Took a chance on this new hotel, and it was terrible. Check in was a pain and took about 30 minutes --- booked through a third party app, and they didn't have my reservation info. That evening, I realized that the bed linens were filthy and unwashed. The comforter had a fresh blood stain on it, and the sheets had sand and dirt in them. Clearly, housekeeping had just remade the bed with unwashed linens from the prior guest -- absolutely disgusting. No hotel employees working at 6 pm to help me, so I needed to have the restaurant employee call someone for help. Took another 30 minutes for someone to arrive. Their "solution" was to change me to a downgraded room with double bed, even though I paid for a larger room with queen bed. No offer of a refund or anything for the downgrade and inconvenience. Second set of linens were presumably clean, but reeked of mildew. Also, the wifi here is incredibly spotty, so good luck working remotely. Plenty of nice hotels in La Paz. This is not one of them....
