They make wonderful coffee and the staff are fantastic but I regret that due to the purchase of cheaply made to go containers I will no longer be frequenting this cafe.
I developed a habit of buying Americano, but the cups and lids always leaked. I had to get a couple stains out of shirts but no big deal.
Then today I am walking home and the java jacket on the cup disintegrated, sliding my hand to the top of the cup which then being cheaply made collapsed in my hand in an upwards explosion of hot coffee and pain, burning my hand.
It's too bad really, I will miss the coffee. If you go here make sure you're staying in with your cup, or risk...
Read moreMuch of my coffee shop experiences are US-based, so it might be unfair to put Mexican coffee shops in the same category as there are obvious cultural differences. This is a pretty safe bet for a coffee shop as far as quality of beverage, friendliness of staff, and speed of the Internet is concerned.
There are only a few tables inside and they're frequently staked out early by folks who just sit there all day doing their day-jobs on laptops. The notion of "stay a bit, do your thing, and get moving" doesn't really exist.
