The Good: Great presentation. Tasty Salad. Fast Service. Deceptive: The Greek Salad description does not have a serving of hummus as indicated within commas on the menu. So any WFPB folks be aware that this plate will have little protein included. I did ask for the feta cheese to not be included. And I don’t eat refined flour. Somehow the animal meat was part of my dish -not sure how I missed that. No problem -scooped it out and had waiter remove the items I do not consume. The Problem: Upon inquiring about the lack of hummus my waitress indicated that it is only used as a spread inside the pita. I checked and being generous I’d say it was about a tablespoon’s worth. I politely mentioned that the description was misleading if not deceptive. She mentioned it was problematic and “apologized” by saying she understood?!! But no offer to bring a side serving —which I would have paid for without hesitation. Before leaving I checked their small shop and hummus is for sale in eight ounce servings. Two wrongs don’t make a right. The billed was paid in full (no discount offered). Generous tip was left. Always keep my head up and always appreciate and respect service workers. But I will not patronize this establishment anytime in the...

UPDATE. EVERYTHING DESERVES A 2ND CHANCE. (except your ex)

3rd time already here and so far I have enjoyed everything. I have been here mostly for breakfast and it has been good, all dishes are delicious and the bread is awesome. No complaints whatsoever. Keep it up.

TERRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE. I bet many people have had good experiences but mine was a waste of time. I came in for breakfast, order couple of dishes and some drinks. The waiter told me that there was a waiting time of about 25 to 30 minutes to get the dishes, detail that I agreed upon. 30 minutes passed by and no drinks and still no food. I told the waiter and he told me that there was an error in my order and they were going to process it ASAP to get it done. They brought the drinks and a side dish I order, and some free piece of bread to smooth things out a bit. 25 minutes went by, I order the check and they tried to charge me (I guess mistakenly) as if I had received all what I asked for, so I told the waiter and he told me that he was sorry and that the dishes were going to be ready and another 5 minutes. I said I don't want them, they canceled the order and that was it, a...

Our experience at Dulce Romero Restaurant in La Paz was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we were greeted by our server Brayan (Brian), we knew we were in for a treat. His attentiveness throughout our meal made the experience truly special. The food was simply amazing. My daughter couldn't get enough of the waffles and her fresh strawberry, mango, and banana smoothie. As for me, the mushroom omelette paired perfectly with a mocha cafe and a light asparagus salad. The berry toast with nuts was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavor. Even my husband, who can be a picky eater, thoroughly enjoyed his chicken sandwich and polished off his plate with gusto. Despite being slightly off the Centro strip, the restaurant's great seating and beautiful atmosphere more than made up for it. Overall, Dulce Romero has quickly become one of our favorite spots in La Paz, and we can't wait to return for another delicious meal. Highly...

I’ve gone back twice since my first visit for pizza and that smoothie and desert. better service and quality both times so I’ve added a star. Overrated and overpriced. Slow service. Vegan options are quite limited, quinoa salad was really small and bland. My boyfriend ordered a pita sandwich thinking it was falafel as pita usually is and it turned out to be meat, weird. So he then ordered a portobello sandwich and it took foreverrr even though we were the only table there mid afternoon. They still charged us for the pita so I gave it to a guy having a smoothie next to us. Bummed because it’s a 2 minute walk from our apartment, might go back for a morning smoothie but skipping on the food. Bread from the bakery is delicious though and they have kombucha!
