We had our wedding here and it was the most incredible experience of our lives! I truly believe Mar del Cabo (MDC) offers the best destination wedding experience in Cabo. Having all of our closest family and friends hanging out and laughing together at the pool/beach, drinking margaritas, and having a blast is something we always envisioned for our wedding weekend. Seeing that vision come to life at MDC was magical. We hosted roughly 110 guests for 3 different events over 4 days and the feedback of the whole experience from our guests and from us has been amazing. Here's why: The staff went above and beyond for us and our guests and made sure everything ran very smoothly. I've never encountered a hotel team that is as kind, polite, and hard-working as this one. They take their events seriously and their attention to detail is best in class. For example, the plating of the food during the reception dinner was extremely timely and did not interrupt any speeches or dances (this is something that was very important to us on our wedding night and they had it dialed). The venue settings are stunning and speak for themselves (we had our ceremony on the grass terrace that overlooks the ocean and our reception on the sand... beautiful!) The rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-designed. Our guests were super impressed with the accommodation. We had concerns about the construction project next door but the hotel team made sure it interfered as little as possible with our special event. I truthfully forgot about it once the weekend began. The food and drinks were fantastic. We did the taco buffet at our welcome party and had multiple guests say it was the best Mexican food they'd ever had. The plated reception dinner was classy, healthy, and delicious. During our wedding, no one had to wait for a beverage more than a few minutes. I've been to so many weddings where there's a 20 minute line at the bar and that's valuable time at a wedding. We never had this issue at our wedding because the staff was so on top of taking orders and serving drinks.

To the Mar del Cabo team, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for us. Julia and I will cherish the memory of our most magical wedding weekend with our closest family and friends in your special hotel, until the end of time. We will be back to visit you soon!

I want to first mention Victor. Victor always made me feel like he was there to help me and support me during my wedding weekend. He always checked in on me and made me feel special. He is incredibly professional, hard working, and kind. He has a great attitude and warmth about him. When I needed breakfast on my wedding day, he got the food to me fast and made the specific meal that I requested.

Omar - thank you for being so accommodating. He made our wedding weekend PERFECT. Cannot thank Omar enough for ensuring our dining experience was top notch. Omar was also solution oriented the entire weekend and helped us solve any concerns.

Sergio - what an incredible human. He feels like family to Weston and I.Sergio is intentional, kind, funny, and sweet. Whenever Wes and I visit Mar Del Cabo he makes our experience so special just by being who he is. During the night of our wedding he would check on me and Weston to see if we needed anything. Those moments mean so much to me. He is such an asset to Mar Del Cabo team!

Cesai - what an absolute sweet heart. Cesai always has a smile on his face and provides the BEST service. We can't thank him enough for his incredible service by the pool the day after our wedding day when we were tired.

Eufracia - she works so hard and is so kind. She made us feel at home and feel cared for during our entire stay. Another great asset to the Mar Del Cabo Team.

Alejandro - he is one of the professional gentlemen at the front desk who was very helpful, kind, and solution oriented.

Saul & Javier - these two gentlemen were helpful and considerate. They made sure to help us with our bags and were always there to assist us when we needed anything with our room/moving things into our car etc.

Mar Del Cabo is absolutely beautiful. It is small, quaint, and really photogenic. It has a beautiful beach with large pretty rocks around. The rooms are very cute. There are lush flowers all around the property and it is always very quiet and peaceful. You can get a day pass to Grand Velas right next door, ( they will golf cart you over) it's about $180 per person for all Inclusive drinks( including alcohol) and food from 7am to 6pm. I highly recommend doing the day pass one or two days of your stay. The views from the adult pool are truly stunning at Grand Velas. If you go btwn Feb-April it's whale mating season and you can see whales out in the distance. The pool at mar del Cabo is smaller and there isn't a swim up bar, but staff do come and take drink/ food orders, however they aren't fast. It will take about 25-40 min to get your drinks and food about 45-60 min. The food at the one restaurant is decent. Breakfast is the best option there in my opinion, then lunch, and dinner we weren't all too impressed by. There just weren't that many options. Overall, This place is great to go to for peace and quiet for about 3 days. Then I recommend going to a bigger resort for a little more fun oriented options. We had some issues with room we booked online, the room we got wasn't the one we booked. So that was a bit of a disappointment. We talked to the man upfront about it three times before being set up with the manager. She was honestly a bit rude the first two times we spoke with her and didn't seem to care much about the issue, which was really frustrating. Eventually, she worked with us, but not after dragging out the issue which kind of partially ruined two days for us. At the end of the day she made it right so we did really appreciate that. Overall, I recommend booking your room through their specific website so you get the room the want without any issues ( pictures of rooms from other booming sites are not accurate). Great place to go and unwind, wonder beach to walk both directions- one way you get beautiful big rock formations to climb or walk by ( really beautiful to look at) and the other way is nice too you get to walk by a the different hotels which is kind of fun to see. Can't swim in the ocean there but that is like much of Cabo. I would definitely recommend for couples or...
