Stayed at a hotel in the area for five nights and came here 4/5, and wished that we had discovered it on our arrival. The tlayudas were even better than the ones we had in Oaxaca. The tacos were all delicious, and we appreciated the handmade tortillas. The surprise to top it all off was the best horchata I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve traveled Mexico extensively and can say that this place is a total gem.

Que triste tener todo planeado para venir desde lejos y llevarte una gran decepción. Primero que nada el.sol! Si quieres sufrir calor vas a otro lugar q no tenga aire acondicionado, aqui tiene por lo que esperas que sea cómodo. Pero no. El sol entra por todo el ventanal haciendo imposible que te sientas cómodo, pregunte por cortinas y no tienen, cosa que deberían ya que de verdad es horrible estar asi con el sol en la cara y en la espalda, calor y una alarma pintando cada 5 minutos por el humo! El servicio nada bueno, se acercan diciendo " ya saben que quieren? " ni un buenas tardes ni nada. Decidi confiar y pedir y la verdad nada de lo que esperaba. No hay sabores oaxaqueños! No se como tienen 4.6 si la verdad es malo, caro, mal servicio y el sol horrible.

What a let down, horrible service, took the waitor 10 minutes to take our order, 20 minutes to get the food out and hadn't received out drinks yet, 300 pesos for a tlayuda with more cole and beans than anything, if your looking for really authentic tlayudas this is not the place, no air conditioning, horrible service, and...

We decided to try this place since it was located near our resort, and we are so glad we did. The mole tacos were our favorites from the whole trip. The tlayudas and mezcalitas were delicious as well, and our server was extremely kind and attentive. I can’t recommend this restaurant...
