If you live in Los Cabos, you already know how difficult it is to find reasonably priced but gorgeous home décor. Where are BB&B, Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel when we need them???

You have a choice of either Kmart/Walmart goods or the few high-end furniture stores where you will pay $1200 or more just for one chair in a patio set—aaaggghhh!! When you have an entire home or condo to furnish—or are just searching for one special piece—the lack of options can be daunting.

And then Casa Bonita stepped in to save the day in 2008. Located on the Trans-peninsular corridor highway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, it’s a family business created from the vision of Marsha and Jorge Flores (just a year after we purchased a home just up the hill). They travel mainland Mexico, purchasing beautiful handmade goods representing many artists, artisans and every state of Mexico—and offer them at amazing prices.

Gradually a dreary set of empty buildings were transformed into what is now a magical complex absolutely stuffed with every home décor object you can imagine. On my visits I always wander around gaping—and have the urge to either buy everything in sight or just move in and make it my home! We always take our guests for a visit--like a grownup’s Disneyland, it’s always a highlight of their trip, finding treasures they didn’t know they needed! Lush, quirky, colorful, beautiful, unique and sophisticated—Casa Bonita has it all.

Marsha, Jorge and their friendly, knowledgeable staff (Oliver & Alejandra) are waiting to help find just the right pieces—from sofas to lamps to artwork—and everything in between that will transform a home. More can be special ordered from their many suppliers in Mexico. Or if you see something you like during your vacation before returning home to the US, it can be ordered and easily shipped from their 2nd store located in Missouri—EZPZ.

Rumors are they are adding a specialty coffee service w/delicious, organic and local pastries….just one more reason to stop by. Warning—it is easy to cross the line from customer to friend--we love this store and everyone working in...

There are few words that can describe the experience of Casa Bonita Home decor. Best can be said is how many times patrons return...not by how often a year, but how many visits a month! Simply the furnishings and art offered are beyond compare for all of Los Cabos. The prices are reasonable, choices exceptional, while the staff and in particular the owner/manager are all truly a delight to know. Personable, knowledgeable, friendly and gracious in helping to understand your needs, whether furnishing a complete home or simply chosing what will fill an empty wall beneath a window. We love Casa Bonita Home Decor. Marsha and Jorge Flores are the most professional people one could ever meet. They have designed for us beautiful custom made furniture including a pop up console for our big screen tv and a matching bar. Each one is made to perfection. And, they stand behind their creations. Recently we had a remote for the pop up stop working. We took it in to them and asked to purchase another one. They worked their magic and had the company give us a replacement remote.
