Le Blanc Los Cabos is like being with family and it’s amazing. I never wanted to leave, but alas, all good things must eventually come to a close. Until next time!
It was a much needed 12 night stay for us and during our time, so many people made our stay memorable and contributed to how amazing our vacation was.
We enjoy shade by the pool and endless margaritas! We are simple people. 😂 every morning we were greeted by familiar, friendly, smiling faces whose only aim was to make our day perfect. I wish, in my job, that my only aim was to make someone’s vacation perfect because it just seems like such a simple and beautiful thing but it’s hard to do in a consistent basis.
But the people at Le Blanc did it well. At the pool, our concierges AND waitstaff slayed. Like. We never wanted for ANY THING. so, Le Blanc, take note and make sure these people are recognized:
Cesar, Juan, Sebastian, Hannia, Joana, Alfredo, Edna, Martin, Mauricio, Miguel, Alex, Alberto, and Rafael. Our bartender at the Eclipse bar was also phenomenal but I forgot his name and that’s on me. Miss y’all all.
Our butlers were Nelly, Gustavo, Juan Carlos, and Xavier and they were so attentive, thoughtful, and kind. Everything we needed was right there almost before we knew we needed it!
Breakfast was the best time - everyone was always smiling and happy - we felt so welcome and like everyone was excited about us!! Especially want to shoutout Zulema for always knowing us, greeting us warmly by name, and ensuring we were quickly accommodated. Our servers each morning were attentive and kind and we especially enjoyed Anayeli, Edson, and Elvis. They just made breakfast joyful!
Dinners were delicious. We didn’t enjoy Yama at all and would never go back 😆 but that’s ok, as they say - you can’t win them all. I wish there were more choices for Mexican food like Sun Palace does where there’s a celebration of Mexico through various state cuisine representation each night. I don’t really come to Mexico for Asian, French, or Mediterranean cuisine. However, the food at Habibi was delicious and the use of sumac on all of the French fries throughout the resort was a surprise! At Habibi we had excellent service from Ana and another night from Jesus! Sweet people with excellent recommendations for food.
The French restaurant (Lumiere) is a great experience especially if you don’t love paying fine dining prices in the real world but want to experience find dining on vacation. The food was good, the steaks were all prepared, and the soufflé takes 20 min so order early 😆
Bella is a must eat - everything is delicious but the caprese salad took the cake! Loved the vibe and atmosphere here, too!
We didn’t eat dinner at Ocean because I’m not a seafood fan and the menu didn’t appeal to me but we had lunch there and it was superb. Great views and service.
The pizza is good and all of the bar snacks are tasty. Get the boneless chicken without sauce if you’re craving chicken tenders 😂 the taco stand during lunch and the Friday seafood bonanzas were highlights of the midday for us!
The Lobby Bar is a hidden gem - great service and drinks with access and service on the outdoor terrace area. It was lovely and our go to before every dinner every night!!
Fire was amazing but it was hot and did. It have a breeze so we rarely stayed as long as we would have liked to and Cavo wasn’t our speed. Not a fan of sports bars and I don’t want to have TVs in my vibe space. It is a buzzkill for me.
The view from the hotel infinity pool is spectacular - we could see the devil rays jumping every morning and we even saw marlins and dolphins jumping and swimming.
Can’t get in the ocean if you don’t want to die, because it’s DEEP right there and there’s a mad undertow. Soooo - want to snorkel? Bring your gear and take an Uber to Chileno Bay. You can also book an excursion through the hotel to go there but it’s a free beach. Swim and play at your own risk but you do that anyway.
I can’t wait to go back. I loved my people with all of my heart and can’t wait to see mi...
Read moreBefore I even say anything, I would like to give a huge shout out to the ENTIRE staff at this establishment, if it was not for the staff, I'm not sure if my wife and I would've been able to enjoy our vacation. I want to give all the praise to the service as well. With an exception of a few incidents and hiccups.
My wife and I are not some bougie people who expects to be serviced like a king or queen. IT doesn't take much to please us. The moment we walked into the resort, we felt the presence of the a "five star" hotel. The check-in process was pretty smooth until the "sales pitch" process began. Our guy told us we would be receiving extra resort credits if we sat through an hour and half presentation. They are going to present to as if it's a legitimate "presentation". You are going to walk down to the Palace Elite center and be introduced to a person who says, "I'm going to give you tour." IT's not really a tour. My wife and I didn't even get a proper tour. We had breakfast together with the gentlemen who was our supposed tour guide. And then we ended up right back into the office facility. From that point on, the sales pitch begins. I already knew what it was. They are going to everything in their power to sell you a ridiculous timeshare like package. The package doesn't even make sense. I mean it's great for people who have a lot of money and want to travel multiple times a year. My wife and I work extremely hard. We are not the most richest human beings on this earth. We worked our tail off to earn vacation. I felt disrespected. When you say no about three times, they will get upset. The people who are initially your "tour guide" will ask you to sit tight because they will send someone else in to get your "feedback" about the sales pitch and tour. The person who is going to receive your feedback is their sales manager. The Sales Manager we had was condescending and disrespectful. If you say know to him/her, they will ask you, "well how did you afford this trip?" because they will try to justify everything. If you can afford this trip, you can most definitely afford our membership. Well how is it a membership if you are only offering a certain amount of discounts? My wife and I are American Airline members. We got a much better package deal then booking it with the Palace Elite folks.
This whole vacation experience was not so great. The 1250 extra resort credits you receive is a scam. You can only use a certain amounts on CERTAIN excursions and spa. Make sure they explain to you what the 16% sales tax BS is. For anything you book, you will get charged 16% sales tax of whichever activity you decide to choose. We decided to book the Golden Romantic Spa. The Spa is WAY over priced. The massage session aren't even that great. You can get a MUCH better service in the states for 50% less than what this place charges you. The damn taxes for these massages are over $100. We did the dolphin experience and amazing beach day. All together, our final bill was around $470. Now if it wasn't for our "Universal" credits that pretty much covered some of the taxes, we would've had to pay more. You can not use the credits for everything in the gift shops. There are only a handful of things you can pick in the gift shop. Most items are extremely overpriced and you will have to pay the taxes on anything you buy after the resort credits are used. Make sure you calculate what you buy before you go on a shopping spree.
My wife and I are going to say away from the Palace Elite Resorts. They are plenty of resorts you can find that are not fake five stars. Apparently this resort will offer you, "high end" alcohol at no extra cost but it's not true. I'm not even going to get into that. It is the same bait and switch advertisement.
Again, if you do your due diligence, you can find a much better REAL five star resort that is going to offer you the total package for 30% less of the price. I'm not the type to leave reviews and I already know these people don't care about us regular folks. So read carefully...
Read moreThe most incredible experience of my life. I never write reviews but Le Blanc Los Cabos deserves it! My family had never done a big trip out of the country like this, I looked at tons of videos and reviews beforehand so I knew all the ins and outs before even getting there… it absolutely blew my expectations out of the water! Not to mention that this resort is all inclusive, so no bills after eating anywhere or having to worry about all the food or drinks you’re ordering. And it’s adults only, which makes it so nice and relaxing. The food was absolutely incredible, everything is made to order so it is all so fresh and delicious. We even noticed that they grow their own herbs that they use to cook, that is so awesome! the staff was so amazing and friendly- Victor at the poolside margarita cart was so sweet and wonderful at his job, Francisco at Blanc Italia was so kind and personable, our Butler Roberto on the 4th floor was very accommodating. We tried every single restaurant and my favorites are Blanc Asia, Blanc Italia, Blanc Ocean, Mezze, Blanc Pizza, all the other restaurants are still so awesome- from room service to Lumiere, I was never disappointed. We also loved Blanc Cafe, the coffee shop- they make crepes, sandwiches, and have homemade ice cream and treats. The swim up bars are amazing, I had never experienced anything like that. And the food carts by the pools were also super good and a unique addition. You even have staff constantly going around all the pools taking food and drink orders to be delivered directly to where you’re sitting. Although the beach is not swimmable, you can still walk through the water coming up and it feels amazing and is so beautiful. Our favorite bar to go to at night was Blanc stage, we loved the live music they would have and the “sports bar” feel. Every single tiny detail here is thought of, so many little things most people would never even think of- from the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a cold towel, glass of coconut milk, a rose, and a hot neck pillow. Your butler leave a little “after dinner” treat in your room every night. All the landscaping and architecture is absolutely incredible, almost the whole resort seems to be made out of marble, even the rooms and the lobby bathrooms are insane! The spa was also incredible, we did the hydrotherapy twice, which is included in your stay, and also had massages that were really nice. The only downside to the whole trip is that all the power went out in all of Cabo so we were on an emergency generator but that meant our AC did not work, so we went two nights without AC and it is so humid that the floors and ceilings in the rooms were wet. Even that did not bring a damper to our vacation, how incredible everything else was, completely made up for it. My parents became members with palace resorts (the company that owns le blanc) they went to the presentation and decided to do it. I had read reviews that they have been super pushy to people to buy a “timeshare”- it’s not a time share first of all, and in our experience, they were not pushy at all and let us decide freely to partake in the presentation or not. I would definitely recommend getting the Le Blanc app beforehand, it makes it so much easier to order room service, butler service, see events going on, view restaurant menu’s, and make reservations. I sound like I’m getting paid to write all this but I am definitely not haha, I just loved this place so much! We spent 9 days here and even after that long, I did not want to come back home. They even give you these gourmet whale shaped chocolates when you leave and say “see you soon” or “come home soon” because everyone here really does make you feel at home. All in all, I cannot wait to come back, it was the best experience of my life. We made so many amazing memories, had so much great food and drinks, made so many new friends, and just experienced complete relaxation and pampering. 10/10 would...
