Lacked many of the amenities that other golf courses at a similar price point offer. Course was in ok condition. Lots of brown grass, fairways and fringe was very firm because grass was dry. Dead spots of brown/black grass on a few putting greens. Booked tee time for Ocean and Mountain course but when we arrived the Ocean course was closed. Lots of neighborhood construction was visible on the course and it honestly wasn’t that well kept for charging $180-200 a round. Exposed plastic in ponds. Cabo del Sol had very similar pricing but their course was in perfect condition, had very modern amenities and the staff was fun and welcoming. Would consider other courses than Palmilla in the month of July. The course was challenging and had several holes with very unique layouts but the dated amenities, restrooms, turn eating area would prevent me from coming back for 1-2 years when construction is completed. See pics attached for conditions.

Palmilla is our favorite place to golf in Cabo with 3 nines, Mountain, Arroyo and Ocean. Our favorite is Mountain/Ocean. We played there January 2023. All the courses in Cabo were shut down in 2020 because of Covid, and many took a beating from not being watered for 9 months. I'm pleased to report that Palmilla is back to PRIME CONDITION now. Ocean especially is now completely restored to showcase beautiful ocean view holes. The range has Taylormade pro quality practice balls, and there are plenty of beverage carts usually one comes around every 3 or 4 holes. Staff is very friendly. We've observed that the bad reviews you see posted are typically from people who are used to paying $50 to play a round of golf at their local muni in New York or NJ. Cabo is a golf mecca. There are very few public courses left as most have gone private. And yes RESORT GOLF does indeed cost $250 per round these days. That is what resort golf costs.

We were here on our honeymoon and it was the second of 3 courses we played in Cabo. Palmilla was by far our favorite, and we played at 2) Solmar and 3) Club Campestre. The course and service were so wonderful despite the construction going on. The greens played true, and the Mountain and Ocean courses were so different but offered beautiful landscaping and stunning views, each in their own way. It was challenging but fair and had so many unique holes. The service was also exceptional. At the comfort stations it’s “meant to feel like you’re at home” and it was such a cool treat to enjoy. The tacos and mini sandwiches were especially good. The entire staff was very helpful and attentive to punctuality in a good way. When we finished the round, the cart attendant rode with us to the parking lot to assist us with our clubs. All around, the experience was excellent! We had a blast. Go play here before it goes private in 2025!

This is M the appetizing and booking are very deceptive and we were told we had 18 holes booked and the fine print said twice on the ocean course but indeed read the fine print we expected Ocean and the Royal but when we checked in nobody explained that we'll be playing the ocean course twice and we had booked online and this was really hard to detect the course however was in terrible shape with extremely Dry Fairways with little turf to really get from and the greens were way way amongst the very worse I played in Cabo. overall disappointing feel bad for the staff having to explain the confusion over playing the ocean course twice to play. today was a bust and there's no evidence of them .,, trying to remedy the situation we played 10 holes and then turned around as the pace of play was so terrible. The only good thing was the sandwiches of the Comfort station and the young lady serving there Will not be coming back and probably would never recommend this to my friends or colleagues before as we've always played here when...
