Unfortunately have been here quite a bit as it is in close proximity to my hotel. We have actually become less impressed with our food each visit, and the service has been somewhat horrendous. They took about 10min to make an Americano yesterday with absolutely no lines and staff waiting around. I’m really not sure what the barista was doing — just kind of sat there for a while before finally got going. The team is very low energy and obviously not interested in being there. Certain members are more engaged, but it’s obviously a culture of making money from visiting Americans easily due to good proximity to a hotel with little interest in going above and beyond. The food is really mid, at very best. Ingredients are often forgotten and flavor is not great. They took 35 minutes to make two salads to go the other day, 30min to make an omelette, etc. finally, the prices are painful. Come expecting LA, NYC or SF prices with about 15-20% additional charged on top. Very very expensive.
Expect long waits, bad food, rude dismissive servers, etc. I would greatly recommend trying to find...
Read morePlease implement a system for your orders so they can go out in the order that they were received!! And please put prices on your menu!! I stopped by to get a few things to go, in line before me was a few people, (1) an American lady (2) two Mexican girls, (3) myself. The people in front of me ordered and went to sit outside, I ordered and then sat down inside waiting for my order. After I ordered (4) a Mexican couple came in and ordered. To my surprise the Mexican couple who ordered drinks to go after me were the first to receive their order. Then number (2) after that order was made the girl at the register asked me am I waiting for an order?? I went to the counter and showed my receipt and said yes I am waiting for my order. Then the American lady came in and she was pretty upset, and wanted to know where her order was! So how do you make the order for number (4) before all of us, and all of us only...
Read moreOn Saturday morning, when I arrived at the restaurant, I asked a staff member for the bathroom, who, in a rude manner, almost put his hand in my face while answering his phone. After a moment, I was able to go to the bathroom. Later, I was seated at a table and attended by the waiter Armando, who, by the way, was super friendly. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that, while Armando was serving me, the same man who had put his hand in my face signaled for him to come over in a hostile and unpleasant manner. I told him that it was okay if he wanted to go and come back later, but he, embarrassed, replied, "Don’t worry, we’re getting used to being treated like this." Later, we found out that this person was the manager, which I find very sad, because if a customer can notice this, I can't imagine how the staff must feel. Despite all of this, the food, coffee, and the place...
