The service and atmosphere is nice. The drinks are nice also. These are the only nice things I have to say about this restaurant.
I ordered a half organic roast chicken with spicy crispy potatoes and kimchi. I received several pieces of boiled, pink, incredibly dry, overly salted chicken (not half of a chicken like they advertised), several pieces of overly salty, literally just boiled potatoes, and no kimchi at all. I was told the kitchen was changing their menu up, which is why I did not receive any kimchi. This place just opened 2-3 months ago? How are you charging 45 USD for an entree and still simultaneously forget 1/3 of the entree?
My friend who ordered the salmon received some clearly pre-frozen Norwegian farmed salmon from Walmart or something that gave them actual food poisoning.
I wouldn’t even care if the food wasn’t ludicrously priced for how subpar it is. An entree and a drink puts you well over 80 USD per head at this establishment, and you’ll leave either hungry or sick. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother until they figure what’s wrong in...
Read moreMy friends and I came here through a recommendation from some family members. We came in excited to try a bunch of items off the menu. The service is great, the servers are friendly, attentive, and obviously very knowledgeable about each dish. The cocktails were creative and nice, but if you get more than one drink be prepared to pay about $45 USD for a mediocre buzz. The actual food is where it took a turn for the worse. I’ll skim over the fact that the appetizers were lackluster, and our dessert tart was mushy to the point of it almost being inedible…For my main I ordered the salmon ~($32 USD with no sides) which seemed to not be very fresh. I stopped eating because it had a strange taste to it. Later that night I was blessed with a lovely case of food poisoning on my last night in Cabo, subsequently having to move my flight since I’m too sick to fly. Getting food poisoning from a restaurant that arguably charges American 5 star prices is unacceptable. We came in excited and left...
Read moreThe place is well decorated, simple yet refined if quite stale. The minimalist desert vibe is getting old in Cabo, and other places do it better (Toro & Seared come to mind) and with a view. This whole place is enclosed in walls.
The food is good, great even but scarce and for the price very lacking. If I got 25 grams of fresh tuna on the appetizer, it's a lot, and for the price, it is nothing. A decent portioned meal will set you back 150usd per person easy.
The wine list is long but spotty, some great wines way overpriced, and very few (less than ten) under 150usd per bottle. So either bring your wine or be prepared to spend about 300-900 usd in wine.
Staff is super friendly and accommodating as they should for what you are paying. Overall, if I am looking at spending ~200usd per person, I can think of...
