Lofts @Estacion Federal — Hotel in Baja California

The only thing this place has going for it is its location to the border crossing.

There was nobody there to check me in until I found a security guard. No booking information was properly sent to me with instructions or what my booking unit was and it took nearly 30 minutes to get checked because I had to wait to message the property in the booking.com app for them to tell me which room I was in.

The room was not as advertised on booking.com. No AC. No hot water. Holes in the floor. Not enough curtains on the doors and windows and the street lights shown directly into the room all night. When I went to check out at 6am, there was nobody in the lobby and I had to leave my physical key sitting next by the lobby window. A security eventually came by as I was walking out.

Maybe it was just my unit that had issues but there shouldn't be these types of check-in issues at 1030pm at night. It...

I traveled solo and felt completely safe to stay here. The room was super cozy and had a flat screen with all the channel apps not like other rooms in the area where there is nothing to watch.

The entire property is pretty cool and you don't have to go far for drinks, food or breakfast.

Everyone is friendly from the manager Luis to the guards are very welcoming. It's literally a 10 min walk from the border. Super convenient if you need to stay close...

Id give them -5 stars if I could, they didn’t have keys to my room when I arrived at 8 pm, guards try to help me but owners told me they weren’t gonna respond and I needed to find another place in the middle of the night, never had a worst...
