I'm an American, so that colors my opinion. I've seen Tussauds and that is the epitome of the art.
This place is no Tussauds.
Very old figures from Mexican history that have no meaning to this Americano. (A couple of US presidents and celebrities, but that's about it. (And they're not well done.)
But the worst part was the ODOR. It was indescribable. Old, dank, unbearable. I've never smelled it's like and I never hope to again. (It totally colored my impression of this place permanently.) This lady came around to occasionally spritz the air with something, but the damage had been done.

Read moreDo not park here! There were two cars parked to the right of the entrance and an empty spot to the left that was definitely not marked for no parking (see photo.) The manager had my car towed and then denied that it was him that had called even though the police officer showed me the communication. He obviously has a deal with the tow company. It cost me close to $100 and two days running around Tijuana to get my car back. The guy is a crook and everyone knows it even the judge immediately reduced the fine to the absolute minimum when he heard the incident was at the Wax Museum. Unfortunately they could not do the same for the tow company who is surely splitting the revenue...

It is extremely dated and while children may find the exhibits interesting, adults are likely to find them very cheesy and unimpressive. The only thing it has going for it is it’s location.
