Hostel California — Hotel in Baja California

This place is ugly unless you are desperate for a place to sleep don't even bother coming here, just walking in to check in and our room was not ready so we decided to cancel and the host was so unprofessional he said he had no access to the app to help us cancel the room. On top of that looks like one of the guest was complaining about one of the employees taking his bottle of vodka I can't even imagine what they could've done to us and out girls not a safe environment at all for families. Place is junk looks like they rent the property to local people smells funky has no safe parking and the area is full of junkies with an old abandoned toilet right outside the hostel as you walk out to the street. Will never recommend to anyone and will never use them in...

Absolutely shocking hostel for many reasons. Check in was crazy slow and the people didnt speak any english. It was more like a halfway house than a hostel for sure. The managers didnt seem to care about cleanliness or about their guests. The managers family were also living there and you could often hear the kids or babies screaming at 7am or at 11pm. The staff talked loudly near your beds with no consideration as you tried to sleep. There was no soundproofing so you could hear the loud traffic outside as you tried to sleep. There was no hot water, no free breakfast as described. There was a poo in a toilet for 2 days without being cleaned - and there was no water at all for 2 days which meant no showers or bathrooms could be used. Avoid this place...

If you want a place with good security this is not the place. With poorly made shower drains and showers that are almost impossible to use, limited computer access for employees doing check in, kids running around and screaming late into the night, it's not what I would call anything close to a hostel with a...
