Liked · Location is 100 meters from a beach that is frequented by locals. Internet was good.

Disliked · When we arrived the bed sheets and towels were very old. The sheets were faded with stains even though had been washed. The towels felt like sandpaper. We arrived at 1.30 AM and in the morning at 8.00AM the manager (who portrays himself as the owner) was knocking at our door. 1 hour later his mother was hammering at the door in regards to airport transfer. I had contracted through casa kini not the managers mother. The place rates high on customer service however sometimes it is too much. 8.00 in the mornings the manager Octavio and the owner Jessica are milling around the common areas. We were aware we were sharing common areas with fellow travellers but not the owner and manager as well. Beware the place has bed bugs!! I was bitten many times over our 3 night stay and after a visit to the doctor due to swelling was informed what the bites were from. please note covid protocols absolutely non-existent as owner and manager constantly in common area with no masks. What a little oasis. Paradise found. A beautiful, quirky little space found in a quiet little nook in Cancun. As it was so reasonably priced, I expected very little and got so much. Artwork and decor vibrant, Mexican and happy. Space in rooms so well utilised. Rooms well ventilated with aircon. Mom and son friendly, well spoken and speak impeccable English. Very helpful. Breakfasts healthy and delicious. Can't recommend this place...

Good location in front of a beach and walking distance to ferry for Isla Mujeres. The house is in a residential area separated from the street and guarded, so it was safe to leave the car parked in front of the door. Owners of the house were super kind and attentive. Be mindful - this is not a hotel but more a B&B formula, you are renting a room with private bathroom in a house, to us it was value added thanks...
