Anyone crying about this place is just not living in reality. There is almost nothing else around here and this place is on the beach. We go after 8pm when its quiet. Willy waits tables and makes pizzas in a wood fired oven. I would say it was 16 inches or medium size.
We had a two Cesar salads, a shrimp dinner with rice, and a Supreme pizza. All were great. The salad was fresh. The shrimps were large and in a nice brown sauce, my only gripe is they were split open, but the shells not removed, so its a bit messy to eat. The pizza is thin crust and filled with the everything you would want on a pizza. The only negative for us is they don’t use pizza sauce or red sauce which is hard for us Italians to not have on everything we eat😀.
I goofed and forgot to take a picture of the pizza and shrimp dish.
They serve beer and hard liquor.
Price was fair.
There is one other restaurant on that road that tourists would drive or walk quickly by because on the outside it looks like a dump. I was told about by a local man on the Ultramax and we happen to be staying a five minute walk from it. Look for my review of Marabella. We plan to go...
Read moreRight on the edge of the public beach, it has a very easygoing vibe. However, it is so easygoing that there is a long wait time for any dish. Appetizer (guacamole) took 25 min from time of ordering, and our veggie pizza took a whopping 1.5 hours from time of ordering. The pizza also came lukewarm, which didn’t make sense since we saw it being made fresh. The reason I am giving 5 stars is because the manager / owner (we’re not sure what his official position is but he seemed to have authority) must have taken notice of our long wait and subpar reaction and comped the dinner without us asking so we only ended up paying tip. We’re very grateful for him doing that even though we already had our money out to pay, so these 5 stars are for the respectful service. Also note that little to no English is...
Read moreThe place we wanted to go to closed early, and with Hangry setting in we dived in here. Knowing that the reviews were not great I was expecting mediocrity, and got it. There was just one guy running all the tables. So service had the basic niceties required to get the job done. Bathrooms left an impression (not a good one) but with that said we did eat and it wasn’t too bad. Also eating by the sea is always a plus. The shrimp ceviche was actually great, as was the guacamole. The pizza was ok with a very strange base. More like a tortilla than a pizza base. Hey. It served a purpose, but would t be...
