(first visit—see dinner edit)My mind was set on breakfast but upon my friend’s recommendation we stopped here not telling me of the lack of such. What a pleasant surprise it was for me to discover this beautiful place. I consoled myself with having a taco de Camarón and one de Atún Ahumado, both with cheese, to at least taste their food—these were two of the best tasting three tacos I have ever eaten—, while my friend ate a plate of garlic shrimp which looked delicious, and rather plentiful, which he’s had in past visits, and was proud of that dish, as well as the place in general. He stated always bringing visitors there in the past. I definitely will insist on bringing a friend of mine soon since she’s partial to seafood. The service was fine. I asked the bartender if they served Zacapa rum but they didn’t. Later, as I intended to tell a manager of the benefit of stocking this great rum and clarify that the 23 year one was the way to go. I was impressed when he stated having overheard the earlier conversation and showed me a note reminding himself he had written about ordering some. I most definitely will return with my friend Mari. Besides recommending this place, judging from the taste of both items I did enjoy, and my friend’s statements, I feel comfortable recommending just about anything the chef puts out…EDIT: I returned, as intended, the following week and to my utmost surprise the bartender pulled up a bottle of Zacapa rum as I asked him if by any chance…. Well! He even remembered me and mentioned that Rene had ordered it in fact because of my suggestion—I was floored! We did order the pescado sarandeado, being the purpose of the visit. Our server, Brian, was extremely attentive to details, even though the place was packed, and the dinner was incredibly tasty. Finally found the entree we sought for weeks which was fabulous in itself. The Zacapa rum serving at the end made me very pleased. This restaurant was added to my list of frequent visits to come. Enjoy!

been there about 5 times .My personal fav is the Fish, tried their lobster and it was Just ok IMO.Service really good , they have their parking space. lots of place to choose were to seat, outside ,inside or second floor. The Tuna salad looks great!,there are some musicians that will come inside to play, this more your tradicional seafood place, than your newers trendy Bajamed style cooking they do in Valle de Guadalupe.Cant go wrong but for me not all the food was super great. decent ok deserts. price reseonable but not on the cheap side like a outside stand

3rd time - 12-10-23 - sea bass fillet, steamed with vegetables, MX rice and lots of salsa and limones. Muy delucioso! Y saludos. Start with obligatory topos y salsa. Waiter is long-time empleado Jose Guadalupe. The famous Mexican bandera - one of world's largest, just a block away. Viva Mexico!! Been here 2x. Met Renee an owner of this 5-star dining experience. Get the Molcajete for a taste if lots if seadood. Pulpe, panela cheese, fish, shrimp - all caught within hours of serving. Dinner for 2 can be $50 USD without alcohol - a tenth of any NYC place!

If they haven't taken advantage of us as tourists, they may have received more star. Food was good but was charged 3x more with misleading explanation, which is wrong. Story: They have menus in English and Spanish. In the English menu there are 2 types of grilled octopus. We asked what is the difference. One is $90 pesos, the other one $380. The server replied, "The portion for the $380 includes rice, other seafood and garnishment. The $90 is the octopus only." I replied, "Give me the octopus only" and pointed with my finger the $90 option. When we received the octopus it was not a big portion, it was the octopus with a bit of salad and a grilled green shallot. When we received our check, we were charged $380. I complained at the end, the server said it was a confusion. Since we ate it already, we have to pay for it. Neither the server or the manager offered an apology or given a discount for "their confusion" or poor explanation of the menu. We paid for the entree price. Upsell is part of business, but provide misleading or dishonest information is shameful. Summary: -The $90 item is a taco. Which was NOT explained at the beginning. -The $380 item was explained as a large portion or entree, so when we received the grilled octopus with a handful of greens and 1 grilled octopus led us to assume "this is the octopus only or an appetizer" Be careful. Lack of customer service from staff and management was very disappointing. This was our first and last visit to...

This has been one of my favorite restaurants that I have visited in the past. Yesterday, they lost me as their customer. After my husband and I went in, I went to the woman's bathroom and what a mess I found. Clogged toilet, no toilet paper, no hand soap to wash my hands and no paper towel to dry my hands either. After that, we went in the restaurant and no one was there to open the glass door and welcome us as they used to do in the past. We stand there for 5 minutes and no one came to talk to us. We tried to speak with a lady that was in the bar entrance, but she ignored us. The place was kind of empty, so there was no excuse for all of that. We ended up leaving the place and went to another restaurant close by. I am very dissapointed with them. I will miss their...
