Casa Ka'an — Hotel in Isla Mujeres

We (family; 1 grandmother, 2 parents and two children age 8 + 9) stayed for two nights while exploring the region at Casa Ka’an Lima-Limon. We loved our very clean, spacious house. Comfortable beds, good A/C, tasteful decoration. Great price-value ratio and after having stayed at other properties in Xpujil I must say it is by far the best choice in the region. Attentive service at the newly build restaurant and outstanding, fresh “home-made” food. All surrounded by the forest it offers a lot of tranquility and is well located to explore the stunning sites of Calakmul, el Hormiguero, Kohunlich and Balamku (must see!). You can’t go wrong staying at Casa Ka’an! Thank you Lili and Team and keep on going. Tips: Visit the bat cave in the evening. Nice place with pool to cool off. Our apartment has a little kitchen with microwave and fridge - used it for breakfast mostly. The room size is comfortable with 2 rooms + kitchen and dining area and bedroom with to double beds. TV/Wifi /AC and fan - all here. Nice bathroom with big shower. |Salvador is a very good host. What ever we needed - he was there for us. Just save his number over whatsapp. |The neighbourhood is nice and quiet as it is a bit away from the center. Supermarket near by (about a 5 min. walk), little private stores all around. Boutique hotel, only 8 rooms, friendly personalized service, quiet/safe location, close proximity to large store Chedraui & numerous smaller stores, fridge in room, excellent air conditioning. The owner and his family were incredibly attentive. Nice, private pool. Plenty of street parking. The location is in the heart of the island and an easy moped or golf cart ride to beaches and snorkeling. Amazing taquerias around every corner.
