Very limited beer options and slow service. We arrived just before the Saturday evening rush and were seated at the very front entrance, as most of the bar area was reserved. The menu was only available via QR code. I ordered a Pacifico and one of their house cocktails. Surprisingly, the Pacifico was a small version of the beer, which wasn’t clearly stated on the menu in terms of milliliters. Their beer selection was very limited, and they had run out of Ultras during our visit.
We also ordered a Yerbabuena, which was served in a more generous glass, though the menu again didn’t specify the drink sizes. Later, I ordered the “1, 2, 3” drink, which had a nice kick. Service between drinks was very slow, and we had to flag down a waiter for each round and even to get the bill.
The music selection was interesting, to say the least—there wasn’t a clear theme, and they played a mix of different vibes. While the overall atmosphere of the bar matched the aesthetic of the place, the drink selection could have been better. Prices were okay for the area, but the slow service and limited options were...
Read moreGuadalajara Eats 2024 #8, Bar #4: Heard about this bar through World's 50 Best (yuck, I know!). Tried coming here Friday night and not surprisingly failed.
Came back Saturday afternoon (and after some miscommunication with the hostess) had a few drinks at the bar.
Drinks are inventive, boozy, and well-priced. Our bartender was friendly and super attentive. While I prefer De La O, I would happily return here.
We had the Las 83 Lunas and the Yerbabuena. The Las 83 was exactly what we'd hoped it'd be. The Yerbabuena is not something I'd usually order, but the bartender recommended it and it was perfect for the hot afternoon.
Would like to try more cocktails and give the food a try next time.
Only things making this more of a 4-star than 5: like other reviews have mentioned jukebox/music is quite loud & mishap...
Read moreMy first hour in Guadalajara Andi could not have been more lucky to find this.place. It was Friday night and the wait was about 30 min but totally worth it. I told the bartender. It was my first time in Guadalajara and wanted to try some tequila. She brought over Pancho, one of the owners, who spent the next 2 hours giving us a food and tequila tour of Mexico all while we were sitting at the bar. We tasted some of the best tequila I have ever tasted and the assortment of tacos were the best I have had in Mexico. The Al pastor taco was so good I almost burst out crying after the first bite. Just an amazing place. I'll be back. I might move to Guadalajara so I can...
