Be careful. Staff tried to over charge, thinking we wouldn’t notice.

Went for some food and some drinks with my friends here. At the end of the meal, I asked for the bill. The server returned with the card reader, he didn’t hand me the bill but the card machine. I thought this was a little odd but took it and paid anyway. After paying, I asked if I could get the physical bill. I was then given the bill and then a moment later, he told me that the payment had “failed”. I noticed that the amount I had tried to pay was a few hundred pesos more than what was on my bill. I then paid the correct amount and we left. Wanted to say something, but thought it would be better to just warn other tourists who may wish to go in the future.

Lesson Learned: Always Check the Bill first...

Llegué al restaurante vestido con botas de senderismo negras, pantalón de mezclilla negro, camisa a cuadros y con un aspecto bien cuidado. También llevaba una bolsa de compras conmigo. Desde el momento en que entré, noté que mi presencia no era bienvenida. Fui abordado por el personal, quienes me preguntaron si tenía una reserva y cuántas personas me acompañaban.

A pesar de responder con calma que estaba solo y que no tenía una reserva, el personal procedió a revisar mi bolsa de compras de manera altanera, como si sospecharan de mis intenciones. Aclaré que solo contenía ropa.

Luego, me informaron que no había mesas disponibles, pero que podían atenderme en la barra. Sin embargo, cuando me dirigí a la barra, el barista me dijo que no podía ser atendido allí y que solo se podía servir en las mesas. Para mi sorpresa, pude ver claramente que la gerente estaba dando instrucciones al barista para que no me atendiera.

La sensación de discriminación y rechazo que experimenté en ese momento fue profundamente desagradable. No puedo evitar preguntarme si mi apariencia o mi forma de vestir fueron los factores que llevaron a esta actitud por parte del personal y la gerente.

Como cliente, espero ser tratado con respeto y cortesía en cualquier establecimiento al que elija asistir. Lamento decir que mi experiencia dejó mucho que desear en este aspecto.

Espero que esta reseña sirva para destacar la importancia de tratar a todos los clientes de manera justa y equitativa, sin importar su apariencia o vestimenta. No recomendaría este restaurante a otros basándome en mi experiencia negativa y en el trato discriminatorio que...

Server was great but the food came out cold. We changed one dish to one that had to be cooked fresh and it came out hot. The Pastor was cold and did not come out like it was shown on the website. We got a manager to come and fix the problem and he agreed it was cold and took it away. He did not send out a fresh one but had the kitchen staff take the cold meat off the skewer and reheat it.
