Good cheap hotel , no frills . about 30US$ a night . Good Tv , clean private bathroom . Room cleaned very well daily . The bed is uncomfortable and there is no chance of sleep until 2 am due to a disco outside the front and downstairs a restaurant / bar / karaoke is built onto the Hotel .||The staff is not trained in Hotel manners , I got the feeling i was disturbing them asking for the TV remote, then the wifi pass then towels, things that should have been sorted beforehand . Not a smile from the younger guy , just a glare at check in and check out , dont know what his problem was . Not a " hello " or " goodbye and thank you " ... but for 30 US$ in Mexico city I can live with that : ) ||The street it is on is a foodie paradise , just go out the Hotel , turn right and after 5 blocks or so near china town there is an array of food stalls , so yummy and cheap .||It is near to 2 metro lines that will take you anywhere ! at 6 pesos a ride ( with the metro card ) it is cheap way of gettng around and even connects you to the airport T1 and T2...

One thing worth to note, it is in the core of Mexico city downtown. I walked out at 1 am (after I arrived), and the environs were sad. Everything was shut down, homeless sleeping on sidewalk, some shady guys on bycicles... At day time, it was a bustling downtown core. If you want a better nightlife, keep away from the downtown. The patrons were mostly middleclass locals, no...
