Absolutely AVOID this hotel! Do not get tricked by the building exterior pictures, lobby pictures and the free breakfast offer as that was only a sandwich of over toasted white bread with ham/cheese, coffee and soggy fruit. Here's a list of issues it has: 1) the beds are hard as wood to sleep on. I asked hotel receptionist if we could be moved to a room with softer beds and was told all rooms have the same beds. 2) construction noise right outside our window all day long. There's huge construction project happening behind the hotel which will be happening for an extended amount of time for the foreseeable future. (see pics) 3) bathroom is leaking water from the ceiling (see pics) 4) the toilet leaks everytime you flush the toilet (see pics)

A shame! given the location... this hotel is the winner of the World Cup of the lost potential ! very beautiful from the outside ! but there's an atmosphere from "the shining" inside. very CREEPY. this hotel could be so much better. the rooms have definitely seen better days.. Poor service, no coffee or any drinks available outside of restaurant service hours, you need to go to the seven eleven outside.. And The restaurant that is supposed to serve Spanish Gastronomy.. Serves INDUSTRIAL meatballs, that doesn't taste like meat at all. tastes like a microwave oven ready to eat meal FROM THE WALlMART. very disappointed. an insult to Spanish gastronomy.

The hotel has a nice exterior and looks promising .. total disappointment. Beds are terrible, uncomfortable and old. The furniture is old, lamps very old, no safe, no usb ports, tv is very old. Bathroom is cold as there is a window vent that cant be closed. Toilet looks like one of those in a public market. The hotel needs a lot of improvement in the room. Staff was friendly. If you are not on a budget consider better alternatives to this. Location is great.

This hotel seem to want to show luxury. Its even call itself an "upscale hotel".|The reception is very impressive.|The rooms are not.|It shows very clearly that cleaningless is not their priority.|We asked to be changed due to the bathtub looking horrible. It looked like they painted over mold and the paint was falling off.|The new room was at the other side of the building and the windows are not at all isolated. So you will enjoy the "music" of Mexico city most transited street as if your window was open (the window has some sort of metallic ventilation gate that even closed do not isolate sound) not much to do about it but to wear sound isolation ear plugs.|But this new room had the shower covered in mold. I thought it was the tile design. But when i took a shower i got the characteristic smell of mold. And it was. We complained and they just didn't know what to answer. They came to clean. But i could have cleaned better with toilet paper. There is still mold.|The beds seem old. They are also shorter than standard beds. I'm 1.82 and my feet are hanging. Maybe the design of the mattress. But ok to sleep.|The cleaning personal will come and open the door at 8 am everyday. So you better place the sign of "do not disturb" (which by the way its in Spanish so good luck finding which is the correct side) |Internet is far from 'high speed internet' |They cut the water at certain point and when we wanted to have a shower at 7am it was not possible, they said 30 min it will be fixed. We finally could shower at 10am, with a weak stream of cold water. |No AC. The ventilation system looks from the...

I have stayed often at this hotel and I love it's location and I love that I feel safe - I am a woman traveling solo.

There are a few things that have been somewhat disappointing and I admit that they are first world problems:

The sink drains slowly and I wait to make sure it drained as I don't want to leave toothpaste residue

I asked for another chamomile tea bag as I was clearly having an issue with my eyes and requested an additional one so I can place it on my eyelids - they wanted to charge me (they didn't in the end) and it had me question customer service -- I chose to stay here at double the cost of another place a couple blocks away and even thought maybe I'll go to the other place for night 2 and night 3

the towels seem very old and worn out and I asked for a face cloth/towel and they didn't have any

the room comes with a coffee maker and the cord is so short that I had to find a place to connect it that it could actually work without dangling

there are no plugs close to the bed so you have to choose between charging your phone or looking at your phone while in bed

the previous times I had stayed here the wifi only worked outside the room - I figured that 5 years had gone by and that surely this had improved. Unfortunately, wifi is still quite unreliable

My comments here are not coming from a place of complaint instead from a place of commitment towards offering a better customer experience and I hope that the hotel will take my feedback into consideration for...
