I wanted to like this place. The inside is beautifully done. But if you're hungry, the portions are small especially for the prices.
We had pad thai, but mine had less noodles and was very soupy. We asked and tried to see if they'd recognize the very obvious difference between our dishes, but the server flat out denied it saying they weigh their noodles......
Chicken in pad thai is frozen, not fresh. Tofu in my pad thai tasted good.
Server spilled my mineral bottle of water onto the table, did not apologize or even slightly adjust the bill! Unprofessional staff...overall vibe here is way too casual laid back "hipster"...staff has no idea or training that running a restaurant is a service-based business.
The taste was good, but the overall experience was too disappointing, I would not recommend or return.
Pad Thai with any protein is 220 pesos....expensive for being in a not nice part of Centro, especially given the small...
Read moreThe restaurant is quite pleasant with the open layout and many plants. Service was excellent. The upstairs was more relaxing. Food presentation is beautiful. The dishes were ok and eased our cravings for Thai. The cold shrimp cocktail like salad was very interesting and delicious. The soups were also enjoyable. The baba ganoush and shrimp/octopus tostada were interesting, but they were not as enjoyable. The pad thai was also ok. The other like dishes are the same I think. A bit too sweet and noodles are overcooked. The egg rolls, "everyone play," and desserts were disappointing. Egg rolls were mostly wrappers and bland. The "everyone play" biscuits were just fried dough with a salad. Mango with rice was made with regular rice and not sticky rice. The texture of the muffins didn't quite pair well with the flavors and ice cream. *We were surprised with the baba ganoush, which is a slice of eggplant with some mayo-like...
Read moreA lovely Thai restaurant with lots of green, live trees surrounding the tables. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. The food was great. We ordered a lamb dish. The meat had wonderful fla5, seasoned just right. I wish it was a little more on the medium rare side, but it was still good. The Green Curry was fantastic. Exact flavor as expected from this dish. I love Thai food and cook it at home often, so I can get pretty critical sometimes :) Rice and salad that accompanied both dishes were tasty, the rice perfectly cooked and the veggies very fresh. We also tried their maracuyá drink, which was delicious and crepa for desert. I was not sure what to expect with crepa, and thought it would be a regular crepe with fruit. In reality, it turned out to be a layered crepe cake, with light cream between the layers topped with strawberry and chocolate. It was scrumptious. Would love to come back and try...
