One ciudad exceeded our expectations. Its location is great, so central and walking distance as described online to Zocalo, Sub Stations Bellas Artes and Juerz and also close to Metro Bus links. 7/11 shop straight outside the front door and lots of eateries close by for dinner on your first night i you dont fancy venturing too pfar from the hotel. ATMs directly outside also, we used BBVA though which the ATM/Bank is on the road to Reformer which is also a 20min walk. Hotel was clean, had AC . Fresh towels everyday and sheets changed upon request. Perfect city hotel, breakfast was adequate with variety, something for everyone. Wifi connection very good. Hotel has two computers you can use free of charge and also a printing service. Even had a free washing machine and dryer you can use-also iron and board which was so handy for us. Reception staff always polite and helpful even if we were a bit lost in translation they always tried to help googling things for us. The free coffee, water and tea station is another added bonus, really great idea and much appriciated. They also gave us a sub station map-really useful. Guys who constantly bring out fresh stock for the breakfast bar were really lovely and do a great job, they work so hard, they were always happy and helpful and really do deserve a tip. Really really great hotel considering it was so busy they really have super standards all around and the staff were just lovely. Thanks very much, we shall be back to stay again. If you do want a pool day, hilton reforma is a few blocks down-5min walk and only 300MXN per person a day to use the gym and...
Read moreStayed here solo for a weekend while attending a wedding.
Room and bathroom were spotless and clean. Location is excellent to be able to walk to the museums and park of the historic district. Through the weekend was able to visit local sites and still make it back to the hotel easily to drop off things or change.
People mention the towels being old I think is exaggerated. The towels are just fine.
24h desk and a security person at the front entry and felt really safe the whole time. All the staff was very courteous and check in was fast and smooth.
Breakfast was a good continental-style breakfast of Mexican foods. Two patios to eat outside.
The room was indeed snug compared to hotels outside of a dense city, similar to a master bedroom in a house. Would be just fine for a couple visiting the city.
I really enjoyed my stay, would be back here...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is near the "Hidalgo" station but my husband and I haven't used this station. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. The breakfast is very good! It services from 6:00a.m.-10:00a.m. weekdays and from 7:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. weekend. It is very good when you need to go out early 😁 They provide 24 hours coffee that is a bonus. They also provide drinking water that we did not know until a housekeeper told us. The housekeepers are very responsible for cleaning your room everyday! I do appreciate it so much 😘 The only thing that I don't like is the size of the room is very small. It is only...
