Don Bonito Hotel — Hotel in Nayarit

After being a customer here for over a year becuase the location is close to my house I have always dealt with the service not being to great.. how ever today was another level, after going with a my girlfriend for breakfast we waited for over a hour for food. And when my turkey breast sandwich came out it was a pink turkey ham. not what it says on the menu.. after saying that I was not happy with the miss Information on the menu and that I would not like to have the ham as it is not what I ordered They refused to remove it from my bill. And very impolitely. The ham had no resemblance to turkey breast. I have never been treated this way in any restaurant. I was shocked and appalled by the service and the food and I will not be retuning and I will be sure to inform everyone I know in the area about this. The embarrassed us a couple making me out to be in the wrong even though the menus clearly states turkey breast.

I don’t complain in restaurants. And I hardly ever leave Google reviews so this should show how badly I was treated and how upset I am.

Excellent two night stay at Don Bonito! We stayed in room Seis on the second floor. Very serene, the hotel's designer did a wonderful job. Clean and minimalistic, yet natural, cozy, and relaxing as well. Included breakfast at the cafe downstairs a plus- only downside is it isn't open until 8 am- slower pace in Sayulita! Pool not heated + doesn't get much sun, so we didn't swim in it, but was a beautiful view from our room. The terrace on the second floor is an excellent spot, great for winding down an evening. But what made our experience really amazing was the front desk concierge Matty, whose customer service from prior to check in through to check out was incredible! So kind, a genuinely caring person, with the best recommendations! We loved our dinner at La Rustica and would trust anywhere she sent us! Really exceptional experience, Matty also allowed us to use the lobby coffee pot so we could make coffee before the cafe opened! Hotel also has filtered water in the lobby. Very reasonable rate too, loved that it was in a quiet area...

Probaly one of my worst costumer service experience. It’s a shame because it’s a very cute and well decorated hotel with a good location. But no one is ever at the reception even when we arrived we had to wait 30 min before someone served us. The first night we couldn’t get in the hotel at 12:30am because all the doors where lock ! We had to call the owner and she forgot to told us that you need to slips your hand under a garage door to unlock the gate.... it was like breaking in and it’s nit very safe. For 100$ us a night... also on booking it’s saying that the transportation is include but it’s not and didn’t offert to give us any extra service to apologize, we had to ask for her to pay the taxi to get back. I ask to spoke to the owner in person never available to talk or on site even till the last day. She gave us the excuse that the hotel is not officially open but we are paying for a service and barley had the basic services.... really annoyed but the lack of professionalism and...
