My husband and I stayed for a week in March and adored our time there. The location is ideal in my opinion. We really enjoyed our short walk to the beach, mind you if you’re not sure on your feet, the cobblestones are uneven and the road is a little steep going straight to the beach. I’m sure you can rent a golf cart somewhere if you needed.. Equally we loved the walk into town. It was a great opportunity to look around at some of the homes and rentals. This is a perfect distance away from some of the town noise. The hotel is a perfect size with just 15 rooms. We found often we had the rooftop pool to ourselves. The staff was lovely and welcoming, and the restaurant was a five out of five. The food was incredibly delicious and everything was so fresh. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back here my only constructive criticism and I hate to write this was we found the cleaning staff was not great at replenishing things. Our first day there - so the room would be considered at its freshest, the shampoo had not been refilled Which I only discovered after I was in the shower…. I found the front desk staff as accommodating as they could be, but it was frustrating for them as we needed to ask daily for something whether it was fresh towels, coffee, toilet paper. There is construction going on in a few different spots very close to this place so be prepared for a little background noise. It didn’t bother us and I knew it was not something that was a controllable. The bird watching and sounds made up for it. tips and tricks don’t pack a robe as the room comes with two robes. It also comes with a small cooler and a beach umbrella as well as a beach blanket and two beach towels. They’re fresh coffee grounds so you can make your own coffee in the morning. breakfast is served until 1 o’clock so if you’re looking to stretch your budget a little bit, you can take advantage of the late breakfast and skip a meal during the day they give you 190 pesos credit for breakfast in the morning which we found was more than enough. There’s also two bottles of filtered water provided that you can refill at several different stations in the hotel and is safe to drink. We had zero tummy issues the entire week and ate at all sorts of different incredible restaurants in San Pancho. Do not overpack to this place you are going to wanna leave room in your suitcase to purchase amazing things from the different shops stands in markets. Also keep your footwear very practical no need for anything with a heel or wedge as there is lots of uneven surfaces to walk around on. It’s a very casual town that is family, friendly, and very safe. We walked around in the dark and never had any issues and never felt unsafe. There are lots of very friendly dogs. If you’re not a dog person this place might not be for you. If you’re going down to swim at the beach, we found the most southern part of the beach the easiest to swim in as the brake waves are quite large and a little daunting. out of our seven days there was probably only two days that were surfable for our level. There’s a little tour place downtown that you can book with we did a snorkel trip to Coral Island, which we really enjoyed and ended up seeing whales while we were out there. We also saw whales from the beach, which was...

This property is a piece of heaven! ||With a bohemian flair, an intimate energy, and a stunning location near an expansive beach, this is the perfect spot for the no fuss traveler who wants to detach and find peace. ||Guests will be greeted by a humble lobby and friendly reception staff. Rooms are very well appointed with organic, minimalist decor. Concrete floors and walls, beautiful tile work, teak wood accents, and plants abounding. The room was peaceful and welcoming. Meticulously cleaned every day, outfitted with robes, a safe, a fruit bowl, and daily purified water refills, the room was comfortable yet stylish! ||Hotel amenities include a beautiful rooftop with a Jacuzzi, a small serene pool featuring hammocks and lounge chairs, and a restaurant with outstanding food selections presented with incredible aesthetic at minimal pricing. ||What’s App proved to be a helpful tool for communication. Responses were timely, and all of my requests were answered. The front desk staff helped me set up daily spa treatments which were excellent and reasonably priced. They were willing to bring ice and water or drinks to the pool and provided help with all the questions I had about getting to and from town. Big thanks to Maria who helped me each day with a smile; she was great!||San Pancho is small but charming. The neighboring beach club is jaw-droppingly beautiful! ||Witari is a 10/10!||I hope the hotel will continue to maintain balcony seating and lounge chairs by the pool which are starting to show wear.||A few insider tips:|-The trek into town will not be easy for people who struggle with mobility. The walk is about 1.25 miles with portions covering cobblestone and jungle Trail. Alternatively, the town can be accessed by walking along the beach about half a mile. It is very, very dark at night. Golf carts are available for rent.||-Food options are limited to the hotel restaurant and beach club. Prepare for repetition or be willing to head into town.||-I visited the local gym in town daily except when closed on Sunday. It was a 30-minute walk each way, and the...

Witari was lovely! From the staff....to the room....to the grounds....it was all exactly what I was needing. ||The hotel is a bit outside of town, which means it is extremely peaceful. One day I walked into San Pancho via the beach and it was not bad at all. Speaking of the beach, it's a short walk from the resort and it also is extremely peaceful. The closer you get to town, the busier it gets.||The food at the restaurant was amazing each and every time I ate there. I went fishing my last day in Mexico and brought some back, which was prepared for me by the chef and tasted fantastic! ||All of the staff was incredibly kind and efficient. ||I highly recommend having an "in-room" massage. I also attended the yoga class offered by the hotel and this was fantastic! Not your typical "hotel yoga". The instructor, Grisel, is a very trained yogi and a true delight to be around!||I will definitely...

Witari was wonderful! We saw whales from our balcony every day and the ocean view was beautiful. Hotel style is modern with natural grace. It’s a short walk to a quiet, beautiful stretch of beach. Town of San Pancho is a 15 min walk by beach or road- very dark at night but we had no troubles. New restaurant on site with great breakfast menu and flat white coffee. Sad to leave this place!

I had a few days at Witari and I have to say the team there is amazing! The rooms are beautiful, the pool area so relaxing. Esteban and Ale were so supportive as I left for a few days and then came back. The location is great as well. I’m very much looking forward to returning.

Wonderful little gem 🤍 Beautiful details & architecture. The terrace has a stunning jungle-ocean view and the Saturday morning yoga classes with Grisel are a perfect way of enjoying it!
