HOTEL BOUTIQUE CASA ANGELITOS — Hotel in San Miguel de Allende

I really wanted to love this hotel! The whole house is huge and lovely appointed, there are lots of loving details, terraces and stunning view on San Miguel de Allende. But, sadly there is often a but in Mexico, the service is either non existent or totally indifferent. The lady at the reception did not bother to ask for our feedback, nor give us suggestions as where to go or what do do. It was not our first time in SMA, but still....she could not even be bothered to make an effort. The breakfast that we read so much about turned out to be an inedible disappointment. The only good one was on the first day when we asked for a very early one and they had somebody else come in. In the end, out of 4 days we only had 2 breakfasts. No one asked why. There were also issues with hot water, the first evening I had to shower with cold water. On to the bright side. The house is situated on a hill and requires 15 min brisk walk downtown which was not a problem. Sometimes we'd walk back, sometimes uber back and that was easy enough. But, next time we shall go somwhere else as the price of this establishment is not justified by...

This is my second time coming back after four years and I continue to be amazed by the beauty, the hospitality, location. It is everything a traveler could wish for and more. Roger and Rosana treat their guests as family and make an effort to connect people to each other here. And the people you’ll meet are truly remarkable from all walks of life. Casa Angelitos is a sanctuary for the soul, where you’ll remember who you are and what you came here to do. It’s not an ordinary place, it’s unique and one of a kind and after my travels have taken me to many places I return here as both a familiar and a stranger, it’s never the same experience there’s always something or someone new to discover. This place will align your heart and mind and set one up for success on their journey ahead. I recieved such wonderful care here, from the breakfast to the cleanliness of the rooms, to being cared for when I got sick, to the outings I was informed of.
