What can I say about this beautiful park and city :) Although this park is located within the tourism hustle within San Miguel de Allende... you walk through it and escape into nature, it's also a marvelous place to bird watch. If you are staying within the city center, it's a 5-7 minute walk. Take your kids and they can play in the playground or shoot some hoops on the well maintained basketball courts.. just fyi, during the busy season, on Saturdays or Fridays, you will hear bands playing as they are offered as a pre-wedding activity, although they are fun to watch and listen to. The park is next to one of my favorite historical landmarks of the city- (los lavaderos) the water basins. If you love artwork be prepared to buy a piece from one of the...

Delightful quiet park with lots of nooks and crannies to explore but my favorite is the pollinators garden area, watching the beautiful butterflies feeding on the flowers. Lots of small fountains supplying water for the dogs to paddle in and drink from and sculptures dotted throughout. Lots of benches and shade from the sun. The park is very clean and impeccably maintained. Several small kiosks near the basketball courts provide snacks and cold drinks and the tomen's. (6 mxp) near the children's area and bandstand are clean and well maintained although there are no toilet seats, at least in the mens. The perfect peaceful place to relax and while away some time...

Beautiful park in the center of town. There are quiet parts, a wonderful native plants pollinator garden, a basketball court which attracts crowds in the evening, a playground, and snack stands. I bring my dogs there all the time and they love exploring the many paths and meeting other friendly pups along the way. I also love the art walk on the weekends when local artists bring their work to show in the park. Calendaria is a big flower show they do there every February and I love/hate it because it takes over the park with beautiful, pretty affordable plants.

We parked our car on the side of the street for free near this park and this was the first area we explored while in San Miguel de Allende. The park is a great place to hang out, it’s quite pretty with a lot of people about. We did a nice walk around the park which was very flat, easy and then we made our way out to walk into the main town. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.
