Casa Chic — Hotel in Tulum

Lovely accomodation, great views, and rustic vibe. Would recommend if you are visiting Tulum with a group of friends/ family.

Positioned on the main Tulum strip, near BE Tulum and Nomad hotels. It was a great location, and easy enough to get to places/ arrange a cab.

Stefan greeted us when we arrived and was so lovely and helpful! Gave us great tips to enhance our stay and was very accommodating.

Mitch was our chef during our stay, and cooked us some fantastic Mexican dishes - lunch specifically was always a highlight. He had a great personality and was super helpful. Plus his home made granola at breakfast was tasty!

The venue was cleaned by Jose and Freddy daily and always in great condition.

We were lucky to be in Tulum when the weather was 98% of the time perfect! However did experience a few thunderstorms. Of which resulted in rain entering the lounge area, and also lots of insects in some of the rooms. Of course this was cleaned up quickly, however was slightly unsettling.

Would have also been great to have board games for the evenings or the times when there were thunderstorms as there is no TV in the property.

Also air conditioning was a great addition, however only started in the evening for 12hrs, which can be annoying for some who like to cool down in the humidity. With that said there are fans in all rooms.

Mornings were made extra special by the views in the rooms watching sunrise...

We just got back and what a spectacular holiday!!! One week at Casa Chic is the perfect way to reset and relax. We have been to Casa Chic multiple times and it gets better every time. There were 12 of us and we had a great time. The Chefs are excellent. Every meal exceeded expectations. A variety of beautiful healthy breakfasts rotating with fruit platters, smoothies and eggs and bacon. My favorite was a bed of arugula with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce!!! Excessive guacamole and pico de gallo with lots of cilantro (how i love it) Fresh fish tacos or salad for lunch. Then dinners like paella or conchenita pebil, Lobster pasta...my goodness. We were also treated to some great desserts. José, the bartender, who made the most magnificent passion fruit margaritas, would point at me and I would nod yes and i would have bottomless tajin rimmed margs in my hand if i wanted!!! The house staff kept our rooms clean and fresh towels ready every day. The beach was beautifully raked and pristine everyday. We swam in the clear blue ocean everyday and walked down the white sand beach. We were treated to a turtle hatch on our 3rd day. What a treat! I cannot wait to go back!! Our week at Casa Chic with our extended family was southern vacationing at its best! This hidden gem in the Tulum jungle is a private oasis where guests experience luxury accommodation while enjoying their own backyard pool and private beachfront ocean access.

While staying at Casa Chic, we enjoyed swimming in the ocean, walking and lounging on the beach, floating in the pool and eating our meals with the family at the unique dining table on the deck. The included chef service was outstanding. Each meal was beautifully presented, each dish a culinary work of art created from fresh local ingredients. We took in some of the local attractions during the day (Sian Kaan Biosphere, Mayan Ruins in Tulum), and in the evenings, were mere minutes away from the spirited nightlife along the Beach Road when we were looking for a night out.
