I am currently staying at El Pueblo Tamlelt and my experience here has been appalling.
I've been sleeping in a room with black mould me and my 2 year old are sick, I do have asthma and my daughter has sickkle cell which affects breathing.
The room reeks of the odor there's no door so I cannot contain it, I have told the staff to which they have not been sympathetic or empathetic they've told me to come back at 11 then at 12. It took 24hours to be moved, I have joint pain back pain muscle pain a headache, runny nose fever and vomiting, my daughter has a cough and a rash and hasn't been herself.
In all honesty I would like a refund for this trip, as I would have sooner been at home I am unable to enjoy my holiday. The hotel staff have been giving me incorrect information about everything. For example they told me I dont have to book to eat at the moroccoan restaurant yet i do have to keeping in mind me and my daughter are vegan so all weve been able to eat are chips and salad. the food hasn't been able to fulfil my dietary requirements. The labeling is very unclear.
The room has made me so sick I can't breath, I am congested I was up all night having mild asthma attacks and vomiting, my daughter has a rash and a cough, I am disappointed that I have to stay here for two nights. I have attached some photos but I have more. They have moved my room finally but this one still has mould and they haven't apologised for anything they've actually made out that I am the problem.
I've had to spend more eating at other establishments, and trying to find medicine, also this has massivly impacted my mental health, I suffer with anxiety panic attacks depression and I've been suffering from all of them here as it's hard to speak to the staff as they dismiss me and make me feel like I am the problem for raising concerns, depressed as this is my daughters first holiday and I feel like I've failed her as she feels off, and I've been having panic attacks due to this.
I have been to the reception they have moved me and offered another move but there was still mould please find attached the photos, also it won't let me attach more but these are the 3 rooms attached.
Today they showed me another 2 rooms they both had the same black mould they stated every room has it. I have a video of them saying this and of the other rooms I would need to do a file transfer for you to see this as the file is large. The receptionists refused to tell me there names to document who i was dealing with, they were rude to me laughing and the one with the plaster on her face called me the n word when she thought i couldnt hear the intern was rude dismissive but less rude than the woman.the woman lied aboht me adn said i was showen 2 rooms i was not shown any rooms at the tome but given a key to which i had to move everything myself with my unwell 2 year old whicg took 4 hours. The next day was when the disagreement happened and and they showed me the two other rooms. They said filing this complaint would get me the full refund and the extra that I have spent on buying a new charger as their mains broke mine and as I had to eat out several times as they didn't have food for me and my two year old.
There has also been a man with his penis out that the hotel are aware off and they've done nothing.
Black mould is dangerous me and my daughter have been coughing up blood on the last day of stay here. They have been rude and because I said something none off the staff will speak to me.
They're currently refusing to handle...
Read moreThe hotel is not offering a Moroccan holiday experience, at best it's a back-packers hostel and should be advertised as such. Across all media booking sites there is a mis-representation of photos / pictures these are not up to date and certainly not what is offered. The establishment should be vetted by not only the Moroccan tourist board but UK tour operators, as this isn't a 'my expectation' is to high the whole place is hazardous, with health and safety issues written all over it, from the uncleaned pools, fly tipping rubbish with a disgusting environment. The attitude of staff toward unsuspecting holiday makers is unintelligent with a touch of arrogance and uncivilised mannerisms, 'to be told English people want beer, food and a pool' 'make bad reviews but still people are coming' along with discussing business matters concerning the hotel such as 'taxes have not been paid by the owner, the court will pay my salary if I have a job or not' these conversations are highly inappropriate to be sharing with guests regardless of the conditions of the hotel I'm not looking for justifications I'm a tourist in your country. Basic standards of the hotel are not met on any level to include no hot water, confusion on transfers, inedable food, dirty tables, rundown in appearance, rubbish, overflowing ashtrays, dirty rooms. The cleaner of the room (located across from a night club and traffic - also 2nd room as 1st refused) kept my sanity by giving at least a clean space to sleep (hmm debatable when a Moroccan Kyle is belting out at 1am). Surrounding areas, not a particularly eye catching beach full of overcrowdedness and judgemental eyes of those bearing skin making both sides feel uncomfortable. The hotel does offer a private area and is well maintained with security, however the sea is full of males and can be quite intimidating. Agadir and particularly Tamlet may not be giving a full impression of Morocco, however the slice which tourists see should always aim to be the best to aid with encouragnent for a return trip and or spend money on a excursion to help build the industry, with hotels such as Tamlet time spent here will only affirm a non return booking unless you go with closed eyes ! and those who rated a 3star or above must have been staying...
Read moreIt was actually amazing the rooms are nice and the cleaners do great jobs the pools lovely also don't bother with negative reviews we came out of season and it was still fantastic and it can only get better from this the hotel and the staff both hotel and entertainment alone were fantastic coming over and being extremely polite getting everyone involved in everything honestly this is probably the best holiday I've had it's been brilliant the food and drink are actually pretty good I seriously recommend this hotel everything about it is amazing. The hotel also has a private part on the beach at entrance 17 which is very nice and clean with nice beach beds so you can get your tan on I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely plan on coming back very very soon. The only issue I can actually think of is the seagulls leave them alone and you'll be great, speaking of wildlife there's some pretty birds, alone of greenlife and some very clean and well looked after kittens that lurk around the stairs to the Caribbean village aswell as a few camels which you can ride for a pretty food price, the shopkeepers inside of the hotel aren't pushy and respect it when you decline looking in there shops they also sell extremely high quality stuff. Like I said I would highly recommend it it's honestly fantastic and not once did I have a bad day it was seriously brilliant. I can only give it 5 starts but given the chance I'd have...
