We booked the hotel only with one day in advance for enjoying the St. Patrick's Holiday. In total 3 nights spent in Agadir in this hotel. The first thing we realised was the high number of old people in the hotel. The average of the people there was about 60 to 70 years old, mostly French and German. Since the first moment the reception of the staff was excellent. We enjoyed every single gentle touch from the receptionist to the waiters. Another good point was the location, with an exit from the backyard to the beach. Also, good restaurants are available few meters from the entrance, that in our case was not needed because we payed for a half pension. This leaves us to talk about another good thing from the hotel, that it was their food. Everyday we enjoyed the breakfast and one of the main meal that were included (we could choose between lunch and dinner). From those that don't want the all-you-can-eat options, the hotel has more 4 restaurant inside with different types of culinary. If we have to complaint about something that could only be 3 things so far: The Wi-Fi is terrible, and even with the room literally being upstairs the reception (best spot for the network connection) was not that good. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working in our room, but it was not an issue in March, just because opening the window at night provided a fresh air, but I would say that during the summer could be a big problem! And the last thing that can be improved, but probably it will cost some desertion in their big group of customers (the old people), is that YOU CAN SMOKE inside the hotel (except in the restaurants). Personally, this was terrible for me because I am allergic to smoke. However, this could be something acceptable in Morocco, so I would not point it as something bad just in the hotel, but it is something useful for people that are free-smoke like me. :) If ye want to stay in peace and even just "living" in the hotel, this is the perfect place. Go with no fear!

How is this a 4 star hotel? We’re on a month long trip and my partner booked this online due to the nice but deceptive pictures. Both he and I are easy travelers having stayed in many different types of accommodations across every single continent but the one table stake for us is cleanliness. This hotel is digesting. From the dirty, smelly, stained carpeted hallways in the shared spaces to the badly neglected room interiors. We won’t dare even go swimming. This first room we were in had no AC and the electricity went in and out. We asked to move rooms and were faced with an awful attitude from the front desk “well the ac is out in all the beach facing rooms”… it took a lot of back and forth to get a new room. We’re now in a new room with a barely functioning AC but the room looks like something from a movie … those dilapidated pay-by-the-hour motels in movies where they often find dead bodies … Icing on the cake.. I’m a little under the weather and have been trying to place an order for room service for FOUR HOURS. I was hung up on twice, once the phone went to an admin office (where I also got attitude…) and the fourth time someone said … we’ll call you back and hung up. That was an hour ago. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Not just unreliable but non existent in our room. My partner was able to take an important work call in ONE area of the hotel and even then it kept dropping. See some pictures below. The bed headboard has what looks like blood or bodily fluid smeared all over it. It’s hard to make out in the pictures but it’s there. The drawers are filled with literally dirt… like someone kept their shoes in there. The bed and bathroom floors are awful and covered in hair and other “stuff”. We are activity and swiftly looking for somewhere else to stay. Do NOT stay here.

Disappointing Stay at Agadir Beach Club Hotel I recently stayed at the Agadir Beach Club Hotel and, unfortunately, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The hotel is severely outdated and lacks any modern charm. The interiors are dark and uninviting, creating a gloomy atmosphere that does nothing to enhance the holiday spirit. The hotel has a spooky, scary vibe, and the pervasive smell of cigarettes due to allowing indoor smoking only adds to the discomfort. Entertainment is virtually non-existent, making the stay incredibly boring. The animation team, which you would expect to bring some liveliness to the place, is the exact opposite. They are rude, unenthusiastic, and seem to prioritize foreign guests over others. They drag their feet, rarely smile, and their overall demeanor is unwelcoming. Adding to the unpleasant experience is the security guard at the entrance who stops guests from bringing in water from outside. This forces you to buy overpriced water from the hotel, which feels like an unnecessary and greedy policy. The hotel shop is another story altogether. The lady running it constantly screams and has a scary, aggressive attitude. She often talks to herself and swears, which makes the shopping experience quite intimidating. Overall, my stay at the Agadir Beach Club Hotel was a bad experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. Look elsewhere for a better stay.

From booking with love holiday to end of the trip, this was one big disaster. I booked online and added extras (sea view room), only to be emailed that room I selected and already paid for wasn't available and we needed to pay extra to get the booking, so we paid extra on the top of everything before we even left.||||We were warned by few friends who already visited and had a mixed feelings about the trip. "They are so racist" was one of them. First hand experience at the airport, they separated me and my partner who is "black" and took ages to process him so I was left on my own being started at like a piece of meat. ||||Transfer was ok, nothing to sing about, we booked a private hire. ||||Got to the hotel, only to be met with staff who had no intention to pay attention to us when we stood at the reception desk. We watched few people being served with big smiles and politeness but as soon as we approached the desk, my partner didn't even get an eye contact not to mention good evening sir enjoy your stay as previous 2 couples in front of us. Eventually we got checked in and were told where to find the room. Oh, we did get the room with the view at the end (but at additional extra extra cost). ||Private beach as advertised is a beach across the road with a rope around few sun loungers, so you can imagine my disappointment when I found out. It was dirty and windy and we probably spent about 15 min there out of our whole stay. So don't expect romantic scenery.||||Getting served at the bar was an experience of its own. Rudeness of some staff was beyond expected when I asked for Mojito cocktail and was told that's not on the menu for us and not included in all inclusive price and we have to pay extra.. just wow, so anyway I did ask for Mojito and was rudely pointed to the all inclusive menu despite the fact that we wanted to pay for the drinks. Funnily enough as soon as my partner started tipping staff there wasn't an issue with being served quickly for the rest of the trip after all. The food at the bar outside is quite nice, I will give them that one.||||We tried to book a restaurant instead of buffet as it was same old stuff daily, and were told we need to pay substitute as its not all inclusive. So we booked a table, arrived amongst first, only 1 table of 2 people in. It took waiter 10 minutes to even acknowledge us, we ordered drinks and food. Starter came all wrong, luke warm soup with no seasoning for me, some dried fish starter for my partner. We ordered 2 stakes (been told we need to pay for those), one rare and one medium rare. They both came cooked right through and cold. Considering at this point there is still only 3 tables of 2 people in the restaurant, this has been a crappy meal all along. My partner asked to pay and we were told its 25 pounds each. We asked to pay by card and were told only cash and only pounds and not local currency. When we calculated whatever the sum was meant to be for our meal in their currency it totalled to around 25 pounds for both of us. So basically they take their exchange rate 1:2:1. So they are pocketing difference and expect tip on the top of that for the crappy service and poor quality. ||Same thing in the bar with drinks. ||||We tried to book a massage but they wouldn't let us pay by card either, cash only and only dollars or pounds. Gym and beauty parlour look like its stuck in a time warp too. Just in case you get excited too as we did until we walked in. We are very busy and do enjoy massage and spa when we manage to get away from kids and work. So this was totally not what we expected.||||Entertainment team around the pool was ok for a day or 2, but when they start pestering you all the time it gets bit too much when you just want to relax by the pool as there is NO private beach as advertised.||||Evening entertainment consist of a guy who sings same crappy songs every night in a small bar full of people who smoke (yes if you want to inhale cigarette smoke all night its a place to enjoy - NOT !) We had a gentleman who had his own instrument and wanted to play bit of violin, he was rudely told not to disturb. Honestly, he was an elderly gent and very happy to be in a company of others and just wanted to join in with a bit of fun, eventually he did manage to get 2 songs in. ||||So overall, if you are expecting a 4 star hotel with quality food, private beach, polite service then do NOT waste your money. ||||Oh and wifi is crap, I needed to work for few hours whilst on hols and ended up sitting in the reception area with my laptop as I had no other option (wifi in the room, by the pool or elsewhere was non existent) ||||And my last pearl of the trip, I made myself a cup of tea and was walking out of the restaurant looking for staff who could give me tea spoon. When I approached one member at the staff at their station with the cutlery I was told to walk across the room to speak to another member on the other side. So I'm walking around with my hot cup of tea, (no, I didn't want to sit down with it, I just wanted to get the spoon and get outside), I approached another member of staff who told me to sit down. I politely said I do not want to sit down, I just want a spoon so I can take my tea and leave. This was met with sit down again, to which I said again I do not want to sit here I want to go outside. I was then told to go and get a tea spoon from the bar outside if I wanted to sit outside. At this point I had very little patience left, looked at the waiter and started walking off. He then tried to hand me the spoon which he dad in a drawer all along, I told him to politely stick it somewhere and went outside. I only wanted the bloody tea spoon, not to be told several times to sit down, or go and see someone else. I just wanted a spoon. Instead I was met with go on a treasure hunt because no one was asked to help.||||And no, I'm not crazy or have high expectations but politeness and customer service don't cost much. I will certainly not be returning to this hotel or the country. ||||Funnily enough, my daughter went on hols few weeks after us to a different hotel and had even worse experience, her best highlight of their trip was...

The Room|Our room (4142) overlooked the main road and new tennis courts being built. The balcony was small, had two plastic chairs and stained plastic/polycarbonate wind protection on three sides. The room was spacious for two of us, storage was sufficient, the fridge looked old but worked (it kept our milk cold), the air conditioning wasn't efficient and the toilet is separate from the bathroom (where the bidet is). The tables are painted. There was no kettle (we bought our own travel kettle), two euro sockets were available and the room was cleaned daily with the bed being made up daily as well.|We did get used to watching the workers build the tennis courts: they started work at 08.00 and finished after 18.00. They worked hard.||The Hotel|The hotel is large. We confined ourselves to the areas relevant to our stay - breakfast, lounging around the pool, visiting the beach. The hotel has a bank and ATM. We used the bank. Exchange rates appear to be pretty consistent. Reception is efficient, as was the Enquiries desk. There is entertainment in the evening in the lounge bar, snacks are served with drinks. We didn't notice any preferences for serving guests (this has been reported earlier). The staff are very friendly and helpful. |Lounging around the pool is hit and miss - guests will reserve nearly all the loungers.|We took to going to the Hotel's beach area - lots more room, but no service or toilets. Nevertheless, we preferred the beach - more to watch, walks to be made, mountain slopes of sand to be climbed. The ocean is cold but its sound is relaxing.||The Breakfast (we stayed B&B so cannot comment on other options)|The breakfast room is spacious, serving hot drinks from machines as well as fresh mint tea poured from a great height. Tables vary in size to match party numbers. Early is better (less people).|We found the quality of the food to be good: there were queues for the egg station, but it moved quickly. There were stations providing for salads, cheeses, cereals and yoghurts, fresh fruit (and tinned!), various breads (with a toaster) and hot food (beef sausages, hb eggs, veggies etc and sometimes bacon. The pastries were the target for a lot of people.|The staff were excellent with service, especially for the one or two physically disadvantaged guests. |Coffee/tea can be had on the porch area after breakfast. |Our gripe|Not the hotel, but some guests. Some people were a little disrespectful in not adhering to the hotel's dress code, perhaps more relevant in a muslim country (no swimwear). Other guests left loads of waste on their table.||Eating|Apart from breakfast, we ate outside of the hotel. Exiting the hotel toward the beach, there are four restaurants about 100m to the right. We ate at the two outer ones (not the two middle ones: don't know why) -- both serve good food. The furthest one nearest the road is nice for a late afternoon beer. Exiting the hotel from the front onto the road and crossing over, walk about 400m to the right (towards the RUI Hotel). There is another sports bar/restaurant (Maxwells) just to the left of the roundabout. Carry on up, and you'll find a well stocked (water, beer, wine and some foods and snacks) supermarket.| |Overall||Yes, the hotel is oldish, but it does have some character. It is in a very good position for access to the beach, and marina. We thought the staff we dealt with to be pleasant and helpful.|I think my star marking is fair: we arrived with trepidation after reading quite a few negative reviews. Perhaps things have changed. Perhaps some people are more observant than us. We are returning...

I'm writing backwards, doing the 'cons' first - but there are many good points too!|This hotel is not 'all inclusive' as we know it! |There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. If you wake early you can't get a coffee unless at an extra cost at room-service.|NO water provided in room - although you can pick up from the bars/restaurants, it should be stocked in the room - there is a fridge, I'd expect water in it.|If you want any other cocktail than a mojito you will be disappointed! Very limited drink options without extra costs.|No snacks/ice cream etc available.|Limited signage and hotel is very confusing to navigate if your away from the pool or reception. (we were lost on a few occasions lol... even made it to the staff kitchen area by accident!) |Evening entertainment is the same every night, different songs maybe, but same singer and keyboard chap - while good at their jobs, no real variety.|Pool bar (at the lunch restaurant) staff could be a little surly and very slow at times - felt like being an AI guest meant we were treated a little 'less' than if we were paying.|Evening buffet - although there was a good variety and hot - there was nothing outstanding. No drink service that we saw (maybe an all inclusive thing again..), consequently we ate out at night - added expense.......|Moroccan restaurant: VERY limited choice without paying supplemental payment - like 1 dish!!! only water or wine as a drink option. |Italian restaurant: As above VERY limited choice (1 dish!) without paying supplement, and only wine/water as an option - the on duty 'manager' also made a very inappropriate comment to my friend about her breasts - not once but TWICE... very uncomfortable experience so, having already ordered we left most of the meal and left. The whole experience was a little weird.||Good Bits:|Reception staff - very friendly and helpful on checking in/out - and nothing was a problem or too much trouble.|SPOTLESS! Hotel was very clean - (even the bits you usually don't see - [see above about getting lost :) ] ). Grounds are really nicely kept and looked after.|Animation staff!! Well!! Thank you guys - although we didn't take part, you all took time to stop and have a chat and laugh, and really took the time to see if we were enjoying our stay. Special mentions - Yaz, Omama and (I forgot your mane sorry) the other lady. (and sorry for the spelling too.) Good luck with all your future ventures!|Location is perfect for popping out in the evening, some really good restaurants very close.|Rooms, while a little dated they are spotlessly clean, and have almost everything you need; no water or tea/coffee. There is a fridge, I'd expect it to be stocked with water. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and bits and bobs provided. Balcony while small, adequate to sit and watch the sun go down. (cheap furniture though & would be tight if there were 2 of you)|Breakfast - GREAT! Everything anyone could want, eggs and Moroccan pancakes cooked to order, plenty of choice.|Lunch: - GREAT! plenty of variety, and different daily, with varying things cooked to order, and a selection of salads and carb options, attentive staff - quick to offer drinks (not just wine and water..) and clear plates. Overall the best place to eat in the hotel IMO. |Overall. We enjoyed our stay. This could be a fantastic choice, but it's not an 'all inclusive' hotel. 'Some' staff could be a little friendlier, and should provide water in the AI rooms! (add tea/coffee making...
