We have experienced a 6 nights stay at Hilton Tangier, from April 25th to May 1st, 2018.
Check-in We were checked in at the Executive lounge located on floor 13. It was a warm and very professional welcome provided by Ghislane: efficiency, smile, she is just at the right place!
On the first night, we could not be upgraded (as a Diamond member), but it was done on the second night for one of the 2 bedrooms with a junior suite. Thank you very much for that kind attention.
Of course, during all stay, we had access to the Executive lounge.
Breakfast time This beautiful hotel is very comfortable and the view so great! Especially at breakfast time, you have 3 major criteria that makes you enjoying this very important time of each day:
Swimming pool Weather was a bit cold to really and fully enjoying the swimming pool area. Let's say that during a sunny day, we made it! The water was hot, and again, as it is located on floor 13, few steps from the Executive lounge, you have the beautiful view. Windy, but really nice.
A relaxing place Yes, this hotel is a relaxing one. I would say that if you really want to have a break, just enjoy it there. But I am sure that if.you need to work with all necessary amenities, everything is available. In my opinion, this hotel has been set for both: business and/or leisure. So make your choice.
Respect of status From the beginning of our stay until the end, Diamond status was taken into consideration even if not all member of team were aware of the way it really works. But I know they did their best.
Day-to day services A new hotel which need to run day-to-day operations. Confusion in what to provide to Diamond members implied to requesting bottle of water in the room, even missing bath towels, glasses... Nothing really important, but it took time to get what we were requesting.
Finally, like many other travelers who experienced a stay, we are really happy. 10 minutes away from the old city by taxi, we absolutely loved our stay in Tangier, also thanks to this Hilton hotel.
We are very very comfortable in recommending it without any hesitation. Great value, also thanks to this great team: Gishlane, Salam, Mounia, Al Mahdi, and all the others we did not name, who are carrying Morrocan hospitality that makes you feeling happy from...
Read moreMy wife and I had the distinct pleasure of celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary at Hilton Tangier City Center, and I cannot overstate how extraordinary our experience was. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel is more than just a place to stay—it is a true haven of exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service, and meticulous attention to detail.
From the outset, the warm and professional demeanor of the security crew immediately made us feel safe and welcome. Their genuine smiles and respectful approach set the tone for what became a remarkable stay. The concierge team, front desk manager Hana, and the ever-attentive doorman elevated our experience with their impeccable service, kindness, and readiness to assist at every turn. A special mention goes to Mogheith, F&B manager for his unparalleled commitment to guest satisfaction; his leadership and efficiency truly stood out.
The management team deserves immense credit for the seamless operation of this hotel. The property is not only impeccably clean and beautifully maintained but also exudes a sense of luxury and care that is rare to find. Every corner of the hotel reflects a dedication to excellence, and this level of detail and care is undoubtedly a reflection of the outstanding leadership behind the scenes.
What touched us most was the effort the staff put into making our anniversary celebration unforgettable. They worked tirelessly to accommodate our special requests, going above and beyond to set up our room exactly as we envisioned. Their attentiveness and willingness to exceed expectations transformed our stay into a deeply personal and unforgettable experience.
I also want to extend a heartfelt shoutout to the specific team members who made our stay spot on (Mogheith, Hana, Hanae, Anya, Reda, Shyma, Anas, Maryam, Elham, Iman). Their professionalism, warmth, and dedication to ensuring we had a flawless stay left an indelible mark on us. Every interaction with them felt genuine, thoughtful, and filled with a desire to create an exceptional experience.

Read moreI never had a mixed feedback or emotion as much as I have towards this hotel and my stay at Hilton Tangier city center. I arrived for check in and was informed room is not ready so I decided to have lunch at the terrace on top. Came back checked in all fine then HK lady opens my room without knocking and said sorry I have the room vacant on my system. I was watching TV and suddenly tv switched off and on again with guest welcome message with totally different name. I went downstairs and spoke with FO manager his name is Hosseini and he is one of a delighted and really appreciate his professionalism. I wanted to go to the pool which is the smallest pool I’ve ever seen in my life. There was only 1 Sun-bed and by the time I went to ask for towel someone came and just sat there . Surprisingly they allow outsiders to come use the pool. The pool attendant wasn’t friendly at all and he doesn’t speak English and of course there was lack of communication. They ran out of towels and had to wait for 15 mins. The room itself is amazing and comfortable and o enjoyed it and the restaurant for breakfast and the team are. We nice and friendly also the quality of food from on room dinning was amazing. I am Hilton Honors member and I booked the stay on their application and it was showing on the app few days after check out I can’t find my stay and points weren’t credited to my account. I reach to Hilton customer care and the reply was to my surprise the points weren’t credited to a different account which I am not aware of. I called the hotel the lady answered in French I asked her to either speak English or Arabic she again replied in French and when I insist to speak either English or Arabic she got very irritated and was talking in a very aggressive manner. Then she transfer me to Guest relation and o spoke with Ms Aman who is also a delight to speak with and she was very understanding and helpful. Apparently someone from the hotel on the day of my check in created another Hilton honors account and transferred my stay to that account and the points weren’t credited there. That person used my full name and added an I at the end of my family name. I am not sure why would they do that. I am a hotelier myself and have been in the business for 25 years and never encountered such thing. This honestly left me very disappointed with the experience at this hotel and broke the trust with the brand unfortunately. Again Amna was very professional solving the problem and my points were credited back to my account with additional 5000 points as a good well gesture. However the trust with the hotel is...
