I am currently staying with my family at Pestana Tenger. It is a wonderful place, and I consider coming here with my family to be a great decision. Staying at Pestana has also turned out to be an excellent choice.

Everything you need is available nearby, whether 1-it’s buses, 2-taxis, 3-or walking options. 4-If you want to visit a market, 5-mall, 6-restaurants, 7-or food stalls, Everything is easily accessible.

Whether you wish to explore the city or sit peacefully and admire the greenery-filled mountains, this place offers it all in one spot.

Now, the most important reason I felt compelled to write about Pestana is because of SAIDA 😊, my room help.

As a woman myself, I am showering so much praise on her, so you can understand how truly deserving she is. It’s not just her smile or her pleasant nature that deserves praise. Just as SAIDA assists with room service, similarly, 😊Anass oversees the breakfast table. I would like to add that during breakfast, Anass, Yousar,Hanaa and his team, including all members, whether they are in front or behind the door, are all excellent at their work. Since they provide us with a good meal, it is my duty to acknowledge them. I know some of their names, but not all. They all meet and greet like a family. From the moment we sit down for breakfast until we leave, they ensure that we face no issues or shortages. These gestures are truly heartwarming. If given the chance in the future, I would prefer to avail the services of this staff again with my family.

I regret to disagree with most of the reviews. I am a business guy who chooses Hilton as a base for Al-Boraq trips in Morocco-Tangier. A brand new hotel with spotless rooms. Mine was an upgrade probably. 907 with huge area to move. No complains on Well appointed kitchen, 2 TVs and Super Comfy bed. One minus point for the bathroom and tiny shower.

Going to thing I do not expect from a Brand Luxury hotel. Noise. Despite being on the 9th floor, I was facing backstreet where people would gather to take buses and chat around. I could hear them all night. Very poor soundprooof. Besides there is a mosque nearby, so I could hear prayer callings. This should not be heard in a luxury hotel... again... sound proof poor.

Breakfast. The quality is OK but variety is again poor. Not even compared to HILTON, TULIP, etc. They advertise From 7:00 to 10:30. Every day of my stay I came at 7:10 and it seemed they had just started to prepare dishes, cutlery, no mugs, or sugar, or proper hot dishes... 7 to 10 means at 7 everything is READY. Not the case during my 2 days stay.

So, overall not an experience I would recommend if you are a solo traveller with business in mind. Maybe a family having breakfast at 9 and with special interest in cultural noises, would appreciate how huge the room is. Which is...

I had a truly enjoyable experience at the Pestana Tanger City Center hotel. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Tangier, with easy access to the train station, the beach, and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

The rooms are modern, spacious, and very clean, with elegant decor and comfortable beds. The staff was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always welcoming with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.

The breakfast was varied and of good quality, offering both local and international options. The views from the upper floors are also fantastic, especially during sunset.
