After a Long Journey from essaouira we arrived in aït Ben haddou and feel welcome from the First Moment. We Stayed over Night and Leave At the Next day At 12. || At First we Could Go To our room and Leave our bagage there, After we were finished we Go To the terace, where we were greeted with a Green Tea During we did The Check in. I am not realy shure if it was the The Hotel Manager/The owner, but he is Called "Norddin" he was very Polite, Kind, courteous, he Smiled The Whole Time and WAs The Perfect host Till The Last DAy of our Stay. |||The evening we arrived we ordered Tagine köfte and tagine vegetables, which was prepared and Served lovely and Everything was delicious and fresh. |Then we went sleeping To our room, which was very tidy and lovingly furnished. | ||The Place is realy an Oase, The Hotel Looks like a Villa and in the Terrasse your Have a beautiul view to the landscape which is comparable with The Grand Canyon and we also had a view To the ksar aït Ben haddou. ||On the Next Morning we ordered breakfast At 8 in the Morning. We Get Fresh pancakes, Bread, fresh orange juice, coffee/Tea, Marmelade, Butter, Honey...||And By the way, he asked us At which Time we Want To Wake up and breKfaSt and the Dinner was the Same. So you can choose At which Time you want To eat and then it will be Arranged. ||Satisfied and with Full stomach we went To the ksar aït Ben haddou. At 11 we Came back To the .... payed and then he drived us with the Car To the CTM Station in ouazazad. ||I Would recommend this accomodation To everybody and i Would Check in there everytime again. Read moreThere were many wonderful aspects about our stay at L’Oasis du Bonheur. The staff are amazing - warm, friendly, helpful. The location is stunning - just far enough outside of the tourist trap that is Ait Ben Haddou, but close enough to walk. The atmosphere was calm and tranquil. Our room and en-suite shower was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable with crisp, white cotton sheets. The room had an electric air/heating unit that was definitely needed in December! Breakfast was ample and was included in the room charge. WiFi was not available in our room, but worked fine in the public areas. The room charge was great value for money. ||||However, there were some definite drawbacks. The first and foremost was the awful smell of drains in our room. We could never figure out where it came from and it did dissipate once we turned the heating unit on. Our advice would be to not take the last room on the right hand side of the ground floor. Another drawback is the lack of any heating at all in the common rooms, which were freezing at this time of year - not pleasant for breakfast or dinner. Finally, hot water is not available until later in the morning, so if you need an early start, best to shower before...
