We also came with a group that was traveling to Merzouga and the guide was trying to get us to eat at a different restaurant but we looked online and chose this place instead and that was the best decision. Normal prices best food in here. It makes me sad that all the groups are going to that other overpiced tourist trap and this gem with very nice view and food is being overlooked. We left a big tip and we still payed 3 times less than in that other place ( i wont name it but it is very obvious which place it is when you see big groups going there blindly not knowing they will be ripped off for tasteless food). I would highly recommend this perfect restaurant with kind owners...

The best place to have some moroccan tea and watch the world go by. This restaurant is blessed to have the perfect location--right at the walking bridge across from the Ksar, so you can sit before or after hiking into the ancient village. During our long stay here, we pretty much sampled the entire menu, and everything was on point and delicious. They also have several rooms upstairs which we felt lucky to have discovered and stayed in, as again--the views from this place is amazing! The family that own this restaurant/hotel are amazing people and showed us true Berber hospitality. Highly...

I can’t understand all these positive comments here. The restaurant was totally empty, but we came just because of these comments. We waited 10 mins looking for any waiter. We ordered meat with vegetables and French fries, but we got only meat and fries which were so fatty that oil was dropping from each one. The food looked disgusting. The owner took the fries from our plate and brought us missing vegetables instead … the worst food in Morocco we got. I don’t know what the authors of comments below eat if they appreciate this place or maybe the owner writes the...

Definitely the best place to have lunch in town, and with the best views over the Kasbah. Nice and friendly local people, they speak reasonable English and good French, so it's easy to communicate. Good food, with really well served portions and fair prices (40DH for a tagine, 50DH for a couscous) Especially if you're on an organized tour (and I was), don't follow the guide to the tourist trap restaurants across the main road, go fot this one and don't even think about it. It's saving you money, patience and an empty stomach

Best patio views and fresh delicious local food. For those going here on a tour, I would highly recommend taking the 2min walk to this restaurant instead of the spot they recommended to you . It's behind the bridge. They have the cheapest price in town (as confirmed by a local) and accepts credit card but 10% charge. Tajine or skewers was 40 MAD very very cheap!
