Arrived really late due to our baggage being lost so had to file a report at the airport. The staff are polite and helpful. Most of them speak good English. The room we booked was clean had a fridge and hairdryer with the complimentary shampoo, moisturiser, soap, cap & shower gel. No iron so bring a portable one if you're bothered. Bottle of water given on first day only so would suggest to keep those bottles or if you have a flask fill it with tap water & refrigerate to save money & trips to buy bottled water. We stayed at room 219 which was a walk after you get out of the lift, the hallways are quite a maze. The elevator broke down twice during our stay so wasn't too good for me as I'm pregnant and there was no sign in front to say it was getting repaired, although they did have a handy man fixing it asap. There is a small mall (Al mazar mall) nearby about 10mins walk from hotel with clothing stores/grocery store & food court within mall which is handy. Sana the guest relations manager within the hotel would defo recommend she's lovely to speak to and very helpful. She also can organise excursions for you. They don't work with a taxi company so you have to make your way look out for taxi signs wherever you are, however they do have links with certain agents/private tour taxis if you ask Sana. We booked breakfast for our 6 nights, lovely variety of food/drinks. Couldn't fault it, everyone was lovely there, there was even a gentleman there serving traditional Moroccan tea. Just outside there is a man making fresh traditional donuts aswell. Plenty of seats inside and out. Swimming pool was great, burkini is allowed in this hotel and can use the facilities 24hrs. Drinks/food served by the pool during day. Toilets/showers next to pool also. Me and partner booked some spa treatments 'Royal hamam' and the 'relaxing massage 30min' (2,400mad- £188.60) Everything was clean, romantic with soft music vibe. They show you where to change and provide slippers & robe. Make sure to bring own bikini set otherwise they provide a cloth knicker. Me and partner both got our treatments done together. Steam room needs a bit more soft lights as it was looking abit gloomy in there. Most the massagers and spa attendants don't speak much English, sometimes they had left you without saying anything. We got abit rushed towards the end as we had initially only booked the hamam as thought the hamam came with a 10min massage, we went back to the receptionist and asked if we can get a massage too if they aren't fully booked. The receptionist gave the go ahead but I don't think the other spa workers were too happy about it. When our massage had finished we were rushed to get changed. Spa would rate it 6/10 due to the ladies disappearing on us constantly without saying use this time to relax or we'll be back in 10mins etc and the fact that we were booked last minute and therefore made our experience rushed and our...
Read moreI seriously do not know where to start from with this hotel. Well firstly I was recommended this hotel therefore paid more than we should have for this hotel as I wanted a nice hotel and I can confidently say this was a very regrettable decision.
So this hotel claims to be a 5* hotel. It may qualify to be a 5* within Marrakesh regulations but definitely not within the UK.
There were ants in the room. Two plug sockets did not work. TV did not work. Air conditioning did not work. The room did not have an iron and when asked for one they said they had none available and when stated that this is on their website that each room had iron and hairdryer etc they asked us to prove this. Staff are extremely rude. Food is bland and poor but very expensive. Pool closes at 7pm way too early as the sun does not set until 9pm. Plus this is not clear on the website once again. There is no music no vibe near the pool area also only a handful of sun loungers have an umbrella to protect from the sun. They claim to be a 5* yet had no shower caps no shower gel had and no bathrobes had until I had to ring and ask for these.
Also after all of this you may be thinking why did I not move rooms, well I requested this and I was told there are no rooms available in the same category and was asked ‘what’s your problem’ yep this is how there customer service is. Please if you are looking for a nice hotel in Marrakesh look anywhere but here horrible horrible hotel. La Jardins is two minutes away and looks lovely there is Agdal hotel and Kasbah Spa, do not stay at Adam Park Hotel. Extremely rude staff false advertisement on there website it’s just not worth it I’m in disbelief how bad this hotel was as I have travelled to the USA, PARIS, DUBAI, TURKEY and Saudi and stayed at hotels all over but this has by far got to...
Read moreDefinately not the 5 star resort it claims to be. Our check in was smooth but we were given a room at the back of the hotel and on our way to the room we noticed numerous rooms being renovated with a lot of dust and paint thinner smell present in the hallways. I requested to have my room changed to a different location in the hotel and they said the room we booked which was basically a villa was only located in that area of the hotel.
I'm sure the hotel would've easily had us 4 adults in 2 differnet rooms so we don't have to smell the dust & paint during our stay but no expections were made (Poor customer service) and we had to walk through the dust covered floor each morning smelling the paint on our way to breakfast and our vehicle. (Not impressed). The resort was not even at half capacity based on the amount of people we saw in the resort.
The beds were comfortable but out of the 4 days we stayed there, 2 days the room service was done late and not properly, shortage of towels or the beds weren't properly made and had to call housekeeping.
The breakfast was included in our stay but Same items on the menu for all 4 days, should change it up a bit to cater to your clients.
The swimming pool was closed off due to renovations so unable to use that as well, they should advise customer before hand or compensate in another way to make up for the inconvenience since that's was one thing which made me originally book this overpriced resort.
The spa was the only nice things I liked at the resort but the only reason for that was it seemed to be run by an outside 3rd party company.
Overall stay was more like a 2 star, and would not want to stay with them again. I'm sure other people have had good experience with this resort but if they were in my position I wouldn't be surprised if they all rated in 2...
