We loved our experience here! There are a million riads to choose from in Marrakesh. I chose this one because of the pool located on the second floor (1st floor if you are European) and its walking proximity to Jardin Majorelle and the shops of the medina. It is easily located off the main rue el Gza without a million twists and turns like some other riads. When you open the door, you think you're in a 5 star hotel lobby. It smells amazing (Orange Blossom) and the ground floor is where the orange and lemon trees are located, with tables for eating your breakfast or dinner. There is a fountain, and the rooms 1, 2, 8 are located here with the kitchen and indoor spaces for colder weather. Upstairs on the 2nd floor is where the pool is located and rooms 3,4,5,6. We stayed in room 6 which is gorgeous! Huge, bright, with beautiful windows, a bathroom that you don't want to leave with a sunken bath tub. (I would not recommend this room if you have mobility issues as you might find it hard to get in and out of the giant tub) Great products in the bathroom that smell delicious. Top floor (3rd floor) are lounge chairs with umbrellas and room 7 which is the most private room. Fatiha is the lady of the house/hostess and she was fantastic. She greeted us every morning in both french and Arabic (our languages) and immediately served us our breakfast. Many jams, spreads, breads, pancakes, yogurt, fresh fruit cups, orange juice and granola. Eggs as you wanted them prepared. (Scrambled, omelette, hard boiled) Coffee as you wished. She would take care of any inquiries and when my throat was sore made me a tray of fresh lemon, honey and hot water. <3 She also ran down the street to give me my bathing suit I forgot when we checked out, laughing and smiling. Honestly such a treasure! All employees were diligent and polite and always busy with tasks, keeping the place spotless. Antoine, the owner, was helpful and made sure to give us a map, explain the city, arrange our pick up taxi who came directly to the door to carry our luggages through the street, and other tips as needed. Other reviews have mentioned his attitude, if you have never encountered a dry and direct European man, this may explain it. I didn't mind his approach, though I can see how some might find it unwelcoming. We do know that the staff feel well taken care of and are happily employed here, so for me, that matters most as it passes down to the guests. One thing to note: we understood water was complimentary as it was refilled when needed, but there is a charge, which is standard in Morocco anywhere you go. If you are big water drinkers like us, something to be conscious of. Can't forget to mention- the pool is fantastic. Heated but not too hot. Perfect for your afternoon break when the sun is high, to unwind from the day and prepare for a dinner out. I am so happy we chose this riad. Would recommend!

Loved everything about our stay in this riad! When we arrived we were welcomed by Mohamed. He was very nice, spoke very good English and explained the riad and Marrakesh to us. He helped us with parking (30dh for 24h) our car nearby and with getting us a simcard for internet. The room was super clean and beautiful, comfortable beds and clean towels everyday. Breakfast is also delicious and it is possible to get eggs. There is also no problem with the WiFi, incase for work meetings it is possible here! The pool and relaxing area are wonderful to stay. Above all this they gave us the service to be able to stay longer in our room because of our evening flight. Super thanks to the hosts, ladies and owner! Definitely will come here again!

Concerned it’s location as it is not in Medina central area but found it’s actually a luxurious choice - avoid all the noises at night in central, easy access to Gueliz (new town), and 8-10 min walk to central only. 7-8 rooms only and the hospitality team is super attentive and helpful amid not everyone speaks in English. All travel tips, transportation arrangements, hamman bookings can pass to the team and they will make the reservations. The raid is also owned by French so (if you know you know) quality is guaranteed - house music, scent.. SUPA. Highly recommended to couples / solo travellers who want adventures but tranquility vacation in Marrakech.

We were lucky to enjoy this riad while staying in Marrakesh with our three children ages 9, 12 and 15. First off, the riad is within the medina and is perfectly located to explore the Medina but you also have easy access to exit the Medina for other activities. The riad itself is small with few guest rooms, which creates an intimate environment that is not available at larger riads. The owner has left no detail unturned, from the scent when one enters, to the well appointed courtyard to the soft music playing in the background, all create an oasis after walking through the busy Medina. The pool is beautiful and is heated, the perfect temperature. There are lounge chairs with beautiful towels and straw hats throughout. ||Breakfast is included and it is one of the best we have had in our 10 days in Morocco. Some of the items change daily to create a variety. ||Lastly, the staff are just wonderful. Aimad was so helpful and gave us a thorough orientation when we came. We enjoyed our daily conversations with him by the pool. He was knowledgeable in regards to the culture of Morocco but also just a fun guy to hang out with. Fatiyah was sweet, helpful and present everyday at breakfast. Our older daughter was sick for one day and we felt comfortable leaving her at the riad to sit out the day’s activities with Fatiyah there to check on her. The owner is ingratiating and makes your feel like the riad is your home, literally. ||We will be back and we come we stay at the...

This eighteenth century house which was originally called Riad El Belaidi became the Riad Cementine in 2002. The Riad evokes images of the garden of Eden, the paradise lost. It is a unique experience, visitors enter a place out of time, out of a world, a paradise on earth. I can I honestly say this was an experience that my wife and I couldn’t fault in any way. ||The welcome, the atmosphere and peacefulness that’s hits you as you walk through the door, is nothing but a luxury you must experience. There's nothing that’s too much for anyone, you are treated like royalty and the whole set-up, courtyard, the pool, and the rooms are just like a paradise.||You must also experience the food, cooked fresh everyday and very good…….. There's always a negative you think but the only one this time was after 10 nights, we needed to say goodbye. ||We had concerns about the location but honestly, this is ideal for everything you wish to see and very good for transport in and out of town.||Of all the places we’ve stayed across the world, this was not just outstanding but amazing value for money.||Thank you to all the staff, Edyta and I are truly grateful for the wonderful time you...
