Hôtel Regina — Hotel in Tétouan

Liked: The look and feel of the hotel captures the Moroccan culture and looked great albeit dated and old and very tired. The rooms were nice to an extent and clean in terms of smell and no body hair etc. The location was great.||Disliked: Everything! The rooms were in a very poor state of affair. Very few things worked, the advert suggests a lot which are all lies so please take the description as lies and believe very little. There are no toiletries, except a toy bar of hand soap. There are no shower gels, there is no coffee and tea making facilities as stated in the description. the toilet seats are broken in the two rooms I stayed in. I booked a room with a Mountain View but got a room with no view except four walls of the inside. The TV remote does not work, the shower does not provide hot water, the water splashes all over the bathroom floor, the floor of the bedroom is dusty so I would advise taking sandals or slippers. The wall plugs don't all work, the shower head cannot be mounted as the holder is broken, the built in wardrobes smell, Said the day manager is not the best and doesn't take any complaints seriously. The bed wasn't comfortable and none of the surfaces were clean at all. In fact, they were disgusting! I had to ask for bath towels and toilet rolls as there were none after checking in! I booked two rooms for two nights using booking.com. The system required me to pay a head of time and I did so. When I went to the hotel the same day as when I booked it the staff played with words. they convinced me to cancel the reservation and rebook directly with them but this time they wanted me to pay them cash. when I opened my bank account I found that booking.com already pending the fees of this transaction. So I didn't get my rooms that day. now when I spoke with them to return my money back they said booking.com didn't transfer any transaction fees to them and refused to find any solution and became aggressive and called me a liar.
