We had a few days in the Hotel Panorama in February. The room was clean, comfortable and the standards of housekeeping were good, although the furnishings were quite shabby by European standards and the bathroom fittings had seen better days. There was constant hot water, however, which is a real plus in Morocco. We had come to Morocco for family reasons and so were not expecting particularly good weather, but the room was quite cold and with nowhere else to go in the evenings (no restaurants in town really) it felt rather bleak when we went back to the room after our evening meal. There is a snack bar where breakfasts are served (huge pile of pastries every morning-very carb-laden but all fresh!) and sandwiches, burgers etc are available in the evening, but we found it extremely noisy and busy-a real social hub for some of the local young people-which was all fine but not if you wanted a quiet evening meal. Service was rather slow at breakfast and in the evening, as it was a little understaffed, but the staff were pleasant and polite at all times. ||There would be a good view of the panorama from the upper floors at the front of the hotel, but we had a room at the rear, where the panorama was of satellite dishes! (I'm sure they would have moved us if we'd requested, but we weren't too bothered about a view from the bedroom). There were also rooms with no outside window, but which just had a window inside overlooking the central stairwell, which didn't look particularly inviting.||All in all, good value for money, well situated for easy walking into town, and if you needed to be in Tetouan rather than at the nearby seaside resort of Mdiq, a perfectly acceptable place to stay. If you're coming in February, however, bring an...

Read moreSpent 5 nights in this hotel during a business trip.||The rooms are basic and outdated but clean. During my stay the weather was bad (5 degrees, rain, heavy winds). The room was very cold. Extra blankets are provided and necessary.||The bathroom was also basic including a 60 by 60cm shower with hot water.||I did not eat at the hotel. I had breakfast in the nearby city center.||Service was OK. Repairs asked for were performed immediately.||The view was indeed nice. From the front side you have a nice view on the mountains||The hotel offers WiFi in the lobby. However I never succeeded to get an internet connection on my iPhone.||Just in case: the hotel has a small...
