I don't know how to express my disgust. I just went there to have dinner with my mother. We were served olives and what looked like a ratatouille while we waited for our food. I ate most of the small dish until I saw something white that could look like cheese but upon trying to cut it I realized it had the texture of chewing gum. In disbelief I looked at it carefully and saw what looked like teeth marks. My mum suggested I smell it... and we both did. It WAS indeed mint chewing gum. It is so utterly disgusting. To start I was brought a sampler of paella-style rice and a medley of olives. The rice was fragrant and well-cooked and I enjoyed the olives, which were firm and briny. The tagine, generous in portion, was delicious, with a fresh swordfish and a deeply savory tomato sauce.
