+++||- Breakfast food was fine. ||- Location is good (close to restaurants and boat cruises starting point).||||---||We booked a partial sea view room, but it really was a closet - way too small for two people. And there was a curtain that we couldn't open, so no sea view at all. ||It was not at all the pictures advertised on their website.||We asked for the manager to discuss this. He only arrived an hour later, when we had to go to our cruise tour (when we heard him laughing with the staff downstairs instead of coming to us). ||He said the website was a different booking system and they were not responsible for the pictures put there nor for the differences...! ||We had to pay an extra to be moved to a decent room with a sea view with no curtain. And moved our luggage ourselves. ||||Wifi didn't work at all the first night. Annoying as one of us needed to work, and at 8pm all staff go home so it couldn't be fixed.||||Finally, in terms of safety: everyone can access your room, no need to go through the reception. ||At 2am someone tried to open our door, very slowly, quite creepy. And apparently other guests door as well.||It was worrying and stressful. The staff said it was a drunk guest. Not sure how they would know as they had left at 8pm...||||Would probably...
Read moreThe position of the Guest House on the bay may be good when the weather lends itself to slow wandering around.|It is easy in September to find the flamingos and they even parked themselves en masse on the beach directly in front at night when the tide was low.|However the position is fairly well away from any facilities.|There is internal parking in a courtyard.|The room was smelly (from cleaning materials?) when we came and that never really dissipated.|The worst was the attitude of the staff who just did not seem to care, had no information or suggestions about the area and were pretty late for breakfast.|There were no comfortable seats in the room but we were thrown out of the 'lounge/bar' area at about 21:15 when the member of staff there...
