Review 2021:Dorkside restaurant is the reason I will visit Walvis again and again. The food is superb deserves 5ππ. Look at my videos. However having prawns as part of the lunch a cold bowl of water was provided to rinse our fingers. Requesting a second servet to dry your fingers became an issue as the waiters are not allowed this additional expense. A bill of more than R600 and they are trying to cut on cost!!.It is also not allowed to include the waiters tip in the bill but a friendly request by the waiter was made to pay it in cash. The servet issue was taken up with the lady in charge for that period but the comments was that it is how it is. Meanwhile in the toilet facility you can use as many paper towls as needed without any issue. Instead of informing us that they were understaffed upon our arrival they waited until we complained about the tardiness before proceeding to give us a halfhearted and condescending excuse that made us feel as though we were receiving our food from goodwill rather than paying hard earned cash for our meals.
We respectfully complained and instead of hearing their clients views the team at Dockside decided our voices were not up to hearing.
